Time for Republicans to plug their ears to the Siren song of how, the time, we are going to flip a far left wing voting bloc. The political reality is that Trump won in 2024 and 2016 because WHITE PEOPLE voted for him. That is the voting bloc. This is not complicated.

Interesting
Exit polls are showing the GOPs perceived strict immigration enforcement was one of their few winning issues. The Iran war was a massive losing issue.

Democrats will get into office and immediately start investigating Trump, his officials, and anyone else they can think of. There will be impeachments and at least a few Trump officials are probably going down. If they win in 2028 they will pursue federal cases against conservative politicians, activists, and public figures. People will go to jail. When they have power, they wield it. Republicans had the chance to root out Democrat corruption and they didn’t. They had the chance to systematically dismantle and destroy left wing radicals and their networks and funders, and they didn’t. Charlie’s murder should have led to a ruthless nationwide crackdown on left wing extremism, but it didn’t. Democrats will turn around and do all of the things the Republicans were too scared to do. If they win the presidency they’ll also nuke the filibuster without hesitation.

One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Montana's governor is hard at work bringing mass migration into the state. Utah and Idaho, too. Texas went blue. I can't do anything. It's up to the grass roots in the mountain states to get involved and be ready for 2028.

I’ve been checked out of politics because I remember what we all went through from the 2016-2024 to get the current admin to where they are today. Average Americans were beaten in the streets, had their businesses targeted, were jailed, censored, fired and attacked all for wearing a MAGA hat and supporting America first policy. People died to get Trump elected and every single weak-willed Republican took everything we did and spat it back in our faces. Now the average young voter can’t afford a home and every time we hear a politician talking about the welfare system it’s young law-abiding Americans who are portrayed as the people mooching off the system. It’s exhausting and it’s why so many young people have tuned out of politics. We showed up, we fought, and the Republicans in turn told us they couldn’t pass the SAVE Act and laughed at us when we said there was an affordability crisis.

I once watched a documentary on the Soviet Union. A woman in her apartment, asked what her dream was. She waved it off. It was an incomprehensible question to her. There was no hope, only despair. One of the most depressing films I've seen. Tonight reminded me of this.

🇺🇸 The war was controlled by the neocon warmongers, which are bipartisan. They don’t care about Trump’s legacy, they care about getting their wars. Trump was for them just a throw away president that went along with it, stupidly. He did not learn to stand up to them. Now the next president will be a Democrat, but nothing will change … except it will be more gay and more immigrants can come in again. But the wars will go on. Remember Biden supported Israel and Ukraine, this means nothing will change. Instead of standing up to the warmongers Trump went along with them and was claiming that he won every other day.
The conservatives who said: 1) The war in Iran is catastrophically stupid 2) Affordability is a real problem 3) America First Were exactly right on every point.

Asmongold rage quits after midterm results and says Trump sold out Republicans "Okay, I'm going to be honest. I'm absolutely rage quitting. I'm so frustrated. I am so unbelievably frustrated. I'm so mad. I think Trump didn't do 50 different things he should have done. I think he should have gone a thousand times harder. I think that he wasted his time selling trinkets and nonsense." "I think the fact that he wrote about the Epstein files and then was like oh well we're going to do the deportations, well wait a minute no actually we're not because some people got mad about it. Yeah I'm mad. I'm really mad because I supported Trump in 2016 and hoped he would win in 2024. And a lot of the vision and the ideals didn't happen. They didn't happen." "What did we get instead? We got bloviating on Truth Social. We got constant calls for taking over Canada and Denmark and Greenland, which we kind of got some support for. But yeah I'm pissed. I'm really mad. I'm so frustrated. I think we've been sold out." "I don't want to hate Trump completely. Trump did a lot of things that I was very happy about. Renaming stuff, some of it is okay, but overwhelmingly it just became so tiresome. Oh my God it became so tiresome. It was bad culture war slop. And they didn't even do a lot of that. So I'm frustrated. I am overwhelmingly frustrated. I'm pissed. I'm so mad. And you know what? The chickens have come home to roost. That's the way it is."

Like I said, America is over. It’s not an over reaction or hyperbole to say this. The Democrats now control the House and Senate and they nominated candidates who openly say they hate America and candidates who support terrorism. Amercians should focus on their personal safety. Safety is what matters most now. Elections are now fully compromised in America. We never got the Save America Act and we don’t have enough mass deportations to make a big enough dent in the Democrats illegal alien voter population. I think it’s best for Americans to develop plans to protect their families, their food supply, and their weapons. America is going to become a very violent country and Democrats fully support that violence. What they did to Charlie Kirk and Trump, they will try to do to many others.
I can’t believe this. We are in the end times.

The Iran war was a mistake, but the Senate is as much to blame for tonight as anyone.
Republicans were handed a trifecta and a mandate in 2024, yet Congress, specifically the Senate, did nothing but undermine President Trump and leave him to govern via temporary executive orders that ended up in protracted legal battles with activist judges that were never held to account. John Thune allowed over 100 critical House-passed bills to die in the Senate because he refused to nuke the filibuster, something every Democrat has said they’ll do if they take back control. Republican voters begged for 2 years to get any type of election integrity legislation passed, and John Thune refused. Chuck Grassley refused to get rid of blue slips to get all of Trump’s judicial nominees confirmed, but had plenty of time to upload videos of himself at Dairy Queen. Less than 20% of Trump’s EO’s were codified into law. This was the LEAST productive Congress in history, taking 364 days off. Why would Republican voters feel inspired to go out and vote for people who literally do nothing with the power given to them?
