So apparently the first known truly marine amphibian in the fossil record was found in China, lived in the Triassic and is suggested to have been some sort of wobbegong-frog thing (wobbefrog?) which I just had to doodle :B my first attempt at one of these plagiosaur things, too.

also, they have mutualistic relationship with hornbills. so much so that mongooses will wait before they go out of their dens in the mornings for the bird. and, likewise, hornbills will tap on mongoose burrows to wake up the sleepy critters so they can go hunt together !!!!
