"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ dies for us." - Romans 5:8 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23 "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-29 “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him.” – John 3:36 “And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Acts 2:21 “…Now is the day of salvation.” – 2 Corinthians 6:2 “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” – Romans 10:9-10 If you believe with your heart that Jesus is Lord and fully trust that He died for your sins, please feel free to pray this prayer to communicate with God. Reciting a prayer will not save you, but having faith and trust in Jesus and His work on the cross does. Prayer can be connected to the act of placing your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. There are many ways to pray, but this is just one I found online. Fully trust His death as the sufficient sacrifice for your sins. Completely rely on Him alone as your Savior. "Dear Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son and that He became a human being, shed His blood, and died on the cross to pay the penalty and clean away the sin that has separated me from You. I believe that He rose bodily from the dead to give me new life. Lord Jesus, I invite You and ask You to come into my heart. I confess my sins and ask You to forgive me. I accept You as my Savior and Lord. I want to turn away from my sins and pray that Your Holy Spirit will help me follow Your way. I believe that You have come and are living in me right now. Thank You, Lord. In Your Name, I pray. Amen."
