Turn on Google’s AI on student devices, or lose access to Google Search altogether? That’s the choice educators will face starting in January. Why not just let kids have Google Search without AI? Seems like a reasonable ask to us. Follow us to stay updated on kids and the AI era

Ohio State should use the FOX money to build a roof on Ohio Stadium and paint the ceiling black so that people can remember what night games in the Shoe looked like.

NEW: Last school year, a 7th grader viewed 4,700 YouTube videos during class.
An 8th grader viewed 5,700 videos in class.
A 2nd grader viewed ~500 in just 2 months.
Less than 5% were educational.
@nbcnews analyzed the YouTube watch histories of students from across the country. My new story shows how far some take it on their school laptops and iPads -->

Unpopular opinion:
I don't go out of my way to build relationships with students.
I intentionally maintain professional distance.
I've found that when I focus on teaching well, maintaining boundaries, and creating a productive classroom environment, the relationships take care of themselves.

If the proper protocols for replay weren’t followed then the FBS Oversight committee should overturn the result of the game and make Western Michigan the winner of the game against Michigan.
Period. End of Story.
Saying “hey they got it wrong, but we won’t fix it” only makes it worse and is a slap in the face to the fans of football everywhere.

One of the biggest mistakes in math education has been the move away from practice and memorization. We're told memorization works against understanding. It's usually the opposite.
The more foundational knowledge students can retrieve automatically, the more working memory they have available to think about complex mathematics.
