This morning, Honourable Dabrusin, a druggy with a rifle had me in their sights. Since my environmental complaint to the Supreme Court my life has been under constant pressure from the directive to, "kill his horses, then shoot him, and have fun doing it." So maybe the loss of expertise from the trash pump fluid retrieval aspects across western Canada's UN1267 release responses does matter to someone other than me.

Hey @gthomsonink - you're factually incorrect about Lukaszuk asking for a legislative vote.
Legislative vote is not one of the options on the form.
The options on the form are "Legislative or Policy proposal" and "Constitutional Referendum proposal" (see image 1).
But just because "Constitutional Referendum proposal" has the word referendum in it and "Legislative or Policy proposal" does not, does not mean a "Legislative or Policy proposal" doesn't necessarily lead to a referendum.
BOTH options can lead to a referendum under the law.
The Constitutional Referendum option can ONLY lead to a referendum - that is the only result of that option.
The Legislative or Policy option can lead to EITHER a vote in the legislature OR a referendum.
The law makes this very clear (see image 2).
If selecting the Legislative or Policy option, a proponent is supposed to specify which of those two options they prefer, and then the government is supposed to take into account that preference when making a decision.
Lukaszuk specified, on the application form, that his preference between a legislative vote and a referendum was a referendum.
Then, he repeatedly said he wanted a referendum.
And then he told 400,000 people that if they signed, they would get a referendum.

Irv Kipnes helped to build Edmonton itself, first its neighbourhoods and businesses, then its hospitals, its theatres and its concert halls.
He and his family gave on a scale this province has rarely seen. Cancer research. Heart care. The Kipnes Centre for Veterans. Edmonton's symphony, opera and ballet. The Jewish community he loved and supported all his life. There is hardly a corner of Edmonton that has not been touched by their generosity.
Our condolences to the Kipnes family and to everyone who loved him. Alberta is better because Irv Kipnes called it home.
HP Smith looks weak to Mr Mulcair, because she is a small business owner, who swims alone at sea.
"Anti immigration" is a dog whistle, suggesting those negated with it deserve horrible labels.
Citing "out-of-control" you were so close. Controls are good.

Yeah, but it's always "different" when Canada does it. At some point, Canada is going to have to realize that its adolescent innocence posture is incompatible with its middle power leadership ambitions.
It is what you would do if roles were reversed.
The biggest national security issue the UK will face is the rise of far-right extremism.
@andyburnham must address this urgently.
The 1930s was not a once-in-a-lifetime event; if we are not careful, it could happen again soon.

As per some reports, the Herc from Winnipeg flew over the Wainwright hospital and some medics parachuted out to supplement healthcare staff below. Totally badass decision and the fastest way to get them there.
