Ottery blue. From Devon. Our friends Phil and Heidi run the first commercial otter milk farm in the UK. Otter milk is extremely rich and creamy but due to the size of the animal, yield is low. So the cheese is small. #ottercheese #devoncheese #smallproducer #organic #notfishy

Shoetown blue coming to a cheese shop near you this Friday, as long as you’re in Northamptonshire or Clitheroe. The last picture is of a Brie, I’m buying cheese moulds next month and you’ll get to buy it in June, trust me when I tell you it’s good, raw jersey milk Brie 👌

As a general rule, grumbling in public is off limits in retail, but, unless you enjoy bland homogenised produce, support the people who make and sell the good stuff. Without them, life would be so utterly dull. Blessed are the cheese makers.

We’ve made the very difficult decision to close our deli & cafe I Whittlebury, this has been the hardest thing we’ve had to do, we’re properly gutted, we continue to fight for survival at Long Buckby and we’ll continue to make cheese as long as we can, please shop local.
