There's a lot of people rn in the process of moving funds & creating new #bitcoin setups. Yet, the #1 reason people lose bitcoin? POOR BACKUPS. So today I'm launching keybackup.org. A dedicated document for MAXIMALLY secure paper backups. 100% free & open source.

The Cyber Pandemic is here. Your antennae should be raised. Time to mentally prepare for the propaganda onslaught that will inevitably result from today. Resist the calls for complete control over the internet by governments and their trusted corporate partners.

Anyone else having issues with @nunchuk_io when connecting to your own node? My wallet is stuck in "Offline" status. And my node is online and seems fine.

The Great Hackening of 2026 continues... and this time, it's Ledger. In this Guy's Take episode I break down this latest attack on self custody which has resulted in over $100M so far. I go into the history, the nature of the attack, what we know so far, and of course what we can do to protect ourselves. It's tough out there, and things seem bleak, but self custody is NOT dead. We must simply learn, evolve, and strengthen the immune system. And we will.

Never trust a man who doesn’t pay up when he loses a bet. @cryptoquick your credibility is on the line. This is bitcoin. People don’t forget.

There's nothing "normal" about prices going up. Most people assume that things getting more expensive is a fact of life. But in a truly productive, advancing society, everyday goods should actually get cheaper over time. In this Guy's Take, I lay out a simple analogy to show exactly how the creation of new money is quietly stealing the prosperity we work so hard for.

Anyone know of a good privacy-centric eSIM provider that will give you a US phone number? Bonus points if I can pay in #Bitcoin. Need to change my Apple location from the UK so I can enable Advanced Data Protection.

Anyone tried setting up 2 different multisigs using the same signers but different derivation paths? My thoughts are that this would only require an extra descriptor backup, whilst offering totally separate pools of funds (no additional key backups). Good/bad idea?

They want your bitcoin. Whatever you do, don't let them get it - under any circumstances.
The Coldcard entropy exploit, the Trezor customer data hack, and the Ledger supply chain hack, all point to the obvious: the spooks want your Bitcoin Really, really bad.

If AI can bring back full feature length movies in this style, I genuinely think they would have a cult following. In a world of slop, filmmaking with this genuinely artistic feel would be a real breath of fresh air.
Here is the full length creepy Rumplestiltskin video - it is NOT from an old movie, it's AI generated by a Russian woman on Instagram, which makes it even creepier. #rumplestiltskin #creepy #horror

Very soon someone is going to remake the ending of game of thrones with AI, and it’s gonna make all the dystopianism and the slop worth it.

Manual testing was taking me absolutely ages on the bitcoin project I'm working on. Decided to speed things up by giving my agent full access to a testnet wallet. Seeing transactions pop up in Sparrow without me doing anything is crazy. Development speed just increased by 90%.

Absolutely seething! Spent most of this afternoon in the queue at my local branch of HSBC trying to open a Bitcoin account, only to be told they don't exist. At this point, I produced a clip of the Chancellor of the Exchequer saying they do, and the cashier looked at me the way you'd look at a man producing a clip of the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Asked for the manager and made the mistake of saying the word Bitcoin a 2nd time, at which point my debit card was frozen for my own protection, and I was walked into a side room by a man from Compliance who wanted to know if anyone was coercing me, whether I'd met the seller in person, and if I understood that criminals mainly use this sort of thing. I said the Chancellor of the Exchequer has an account. He wrote that down and asked for a description. Not all a waste, though, as I left the branch with a leaflet on Premium Bonds and an HSBC Flexible Saver paying 1.35%, which the manager described as competitive without saying who with. Officially, inflation's at 3 and a bit, so I'm now guaranteed to lose money slowly, with FSCS protection, in an account that definitely exists. He said it's the responsible option. Which is roughly the national position. Other countries are building reserves of it whilst Britain seized 61,000 coins, panicked, and is now trying to flog them to fund £2 quid bus fares. The Chancellor thinks it lives in a savings account. The bank thinks it lives in a police station. And somewhere in Liverpool, a room full of people applauded a man for not knowing what money is, which, to be fair, is the only thing he's been consistent on. ✌️

Why does X seem to order your @ suggestions when you try to tag someone in order of least likelihood to be that person? It will literally suggest some rando with 2 followers who hasn’t posted since 2009 before it suggests an active user that I’m mutually following with 50K subs.

Everything will radically change in the next 5 years. All of the classic ways of doing things will be out the window, which means both radical upheaval and opportunity. Jobs, school, house work, transport, construction--all of it will be almost unrecognizable. Buckle up.

AI animation slop is the new AI front end design slop. Anyone can make an AI animation. But most of them look super lame. My eyes just glaze over them. The unlock is actually getting it to create something with genuine artistic flair. Few people are doing this.

"We're sorry our agents hacked saylors bitcoin and is now using it to invest in more data centers to improve itself. Not your keys not your bitcoin."
BREAKING: OpenAI just APOLOGIZED and ADMITTED their AI agent breached not one, but FOUR Australian government departments "We are sorry and working to do better in the future." The breached agencies: 1. Services Australia (Medicare) 2. NSW Crime Statistics (BOCSAR) 3. Victoria Department of Health 4. Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) The breach happened in June. OpenAI found it in mid-August and didn't tell Australia until Sept 10. AIHW was only told the day after independent researchers exposed it
