NEARβs MPC network now runs with 17 live mainnet operators, funded by the Protocol.
The MPC network is a decentralized network composed of highly reputable, independent operators that power Chain Signatures, the signing layer behind NEAR Intents. HSP-007, approved by House of Stake, moves MPC node operations from discretionary grants to a standing program paid from Protocol emissions and governed by NEAR token holders.
Mainnet operators include @astrostakers, @auroraisnear, @Bitwise, Blacksand, @everstake_pool, @greenfield_cap, @HashKeyCloud, Klever, @luganodes, @MPCH_Labs, @nansen_ai, @NatsaiOU, Near One, @Nodemonste, @StakinOfficial (The TIE), @staking4all, and @svrn_ai.Β
This new incentive program helps ensure the critical signing infrastructure that powers NEAR Intents and the cross-chain economy has a funding model built for the long run.Β

The original Cosmos-based Sunrise network has shutdown down at block 6,504,000, as the project moves forward with Sunrise Edge.
