⚖️COURT UPDATE⚖️A federal judge has given Jennifer Hough additional time to formally confirm the WITHDRAWAL of her expert witness after her attorneys FAILED to comply with the Court’s original deadline.
On August 18, 2026, Magistrate Judge James R. Cho noted that Hough had previously been ordered to file a letter confirming the withdrawal of her expert witness WITH PREJUDICE by August 12.
According to the Court, Hough’s counsel failed to file the required letter by that deadline.
Rather than impose any sanction at this time, the Court has EXTENDED the deadline.
Hough must now file the required confirmation by AUGUST 25, 2026.
The order does NOT reverse the withdrawal or give Hough permission to keep the expert witness.
It simply gives her attorneys additional time to formally comply with the Court’s prior directive confirming that the expert has been withdrawn with prejudice.
