The Dead by Daylight community is one of the most toxic gaming communities I've ever seen. I started playing the game on release and have taken some breaks over the years even though I still enjoy playing it. One thing that hasn't changed since then is how mentally unwell many players are, mostly due to their entitlement and need to harass you as often as they do, both in and out of game. The best and most recent example is seeing some of them going after developer(s) by stalking them or telling them to end their lives due to recent events. This also happens within the game itself usually when a player is far too entitled to have any rational thinking. In my opinion, there should at least be some acknowledgement to both how toxic and draining that is for the playerbase and those outside of DBD. It's worth noting that there are obviously a lot of good people within the community to find, but the negativity often outshines the positivity. That being said, I find it disturbing how communities can be mobilized with zero, little, or even a lot of push to harass others, like streamers or even general players. Content creation as a whole, has significantly shifted over the years from most people knowing each other, getting the same vibes, and just an overall enjoyment of hanging out. Specifically, I see platforms like Twitch as being a former shell of what it used to be as it has devolved into disingenuous attempts at clip farming with zero substance, mixed in with actual takes from others. Endless harassment from a community, no matter from where, is a fruitless endeavor in my opinion. It accomplishes nothing of value and only exists to harm others. Hopefully this spreads awareness in an attempt to remind people to play whatever they want, form their own opinions, and leave the needless harassment of others out.

Capitanes Confirmados Algunos de estos países pasarán a la fase principal de manera directa, otros se enfrentaran en un qualifier para jugar la DBD World Cup de @ReudigRuediger Final Presencial en España 2027

I made these guidelines with the idea of "encouraging" attitudes that would avoid endless stalemates and result in more enjoyable matches. If you know someone new to DBD, please share this with them.

125 4k5s in a row, potentially the single most impressive win streak record in DBD history. Dwichael's previous record was 44. Not to take away from the achievement, but I seriously wonder just how bad matchmaking is rn and whether any streaks recorded atm should be valid

In the last month alone over 300k Icon Packs have been downloaded from NightLight. They only work because DBD elects to use them. It would be widely appreciated if we could get some degree of assurance on this like you've given for reshade.
We're trying to add this to a few threads - so we'll add it here as well. We say ‘use at your own risk’ because while it is unlikely - we cannot guarantee that any anti-cheat software will not be triggered by it. All we can say is that Denuvo Anti-Cheat works under the same principles as Easy Anti-Cheat.

I've been using this overlay for a while now, and it's honestly the best overlay I've seen. And they're updating regularly. Go check them out if you're a DBD streamer that does streaks and/or challenges dbdoverlaytools.com

Hey @DeadbyDaylight, Forcing Steam players to install Denuvo Anti-Cheat so you can trial it on the live playerbase with more anti-cheat provider trials planned over the coming months is insane. Your players are not your QA lab, and our PCs are not your security test bench. (1/4)

The bigger issue is server-side checks. If someone is speedhacking, teleporting or doing something that should be impossible, the server should catch it. No anti-cheat can make up for weak server-side validation. (3/4)

So please, fix your game instead of making users pay the price for problems that should be handled on your side. Better server checks, better detection, better security. Not more crap installed on our PCs. (4/4)

Yea, if this Wesker change goes live its ggs and he will be even closer to the edge of being barely playable. The fact that it happens even at low ping back to back proves it further, this needs immediate changes or a full revert. @DeadbyDaylight Focus on fixing febuary problems.
This is bad, Wesker in 10.1.0 ptb got a change which shifts power hit checking from client to server which can result in you getting a hit on a surv but server saying otherwise and ending your power. With higher ping it gets way worse. This needs tweaks or revert @DeadbyDaylight

DBD is one of the few games that has tourneys and manages to achieve 10k+ live viewership on those several times Not only that, it is completely grass roots on grew from within itself over the course of years. Many other publishers invest millions and get nowhere near that level You can discredit it all you want but the numbers speak for itself, comp is real and given the trends of recent years will only get bigger from here
Replying to @prion_tv
this is literally no competitive scene for dbd LOL
