So "I" built this too github.com/stenyak/tuskManag…
Includes some useful feature missing in most task managers: single-thread bottlenecks, memory used (or leaked) by OS and drivers instead of only by programs, and a bunch other things.
Seems someone caught the making-of on camera!
That RL tire had a few more bright sparky corners before dying.
Wish there was more time to continue with sparks gfx improvements, some of that code is kinda messy atm.
To celebrate our @beamng PS5 v0.40 release, I had my first drift trackday in... 1.5 years (cause of various minor health issues)
Got slightly carried away on this new set of tires, temporarily forgetting concepts such as "warmup" and "cooldown"
10/10 worth it, would shred again

New @BeamNG.drive splitscreen mode for PS5 and PC: bringing wholesomeness and love to families all around the world 🧡🤗

BeamNG drive is out now on PS5
Build, drive, crash, and watch the detailed collision physics do the rest: play.st/4zA0OzM
Today's plan: go through thousands of changes across repositories to painstakingly redact my changelog entries, in end-user language.
How it's going: optimizing this old tool I created to comb through commits, then I'll speedrun the actual dev-to-english translation last minute.
The bottleneck to game creation/modding is somewhat evolving, from competent-dev-team to idea-guy.
Not claiming to like it, it's just what anyone can observe out there already.
I hope an 'idea guy' with time+tokens makes a Trespasser VR mod... a gem born for VR before its time!
Over the years, my out-of-order typing when rushing is getting unbelievably worse.
I just caught myself having seemingly typed this (see image).
Sometimes I suspect it might be a bug in Windows Terminal, but if that's the case, I cannot imagine how.
"0% cpu use"
I'm already forced to use my own taskbar and alt-tab programs (vibecoded, since they just need to do their job). I guess a new task manager is next.
I want to like the Steam Frame, sadly its ergonomics don't suit *my* face: it's either good FOV with nose pain, or comfortable but too loose (no middle ground).
Fortunately doesn't seem to be the norm! So still an opportunity for anti-Meta advocates to vote with their wallets.
To clarify: "rushing" means I'm typing 2-5 command lines blindly, while waiting for the first of them to finish executing. So there's no immediate visual feedback until after the whole thing finishes running, and then I see the 3rd command was typoed.
Doing some tests in @BeamNG for secret side-project of the year #67.
I was scratching my head about why a map was SO dark at noon.
Eventually realized it was correct: a very nordic geoloc + a very wintery time of year + proper sky/atmosphere simulation should, in fact, do that.
If the UI for your issue tracking system doesn't run on a physics engine that can be paused like a regular game engine, then are you even trying?
It was created for internal use at @beamng and open sourced, for whoever wants physically based ticketing too: github.com/BeamNG/GitLabViz
1/4 Aerodynamics was one of my side projects for @beamng v0.39, with slipstreaming, side drafting and bump drafting.
In addition to the expected simracing application, I went a bit further. People should enjoy it from a physics sandbox perspective too:

4/4 It might sound fancy or complicated, but truth is, the final result really isn't. If someone checks the code, they may find it simplistic.
It just took long to make it that simple and fast.
