890 people have been arrested for demanding an end to genocide in Gaza.
To call them “terrorists” is beyond disgusting.
Shame on you and this Labour government for criminalising solidarity with the Palestinian people, while continuing to sell arms to Israel that fuel genocide.
Supporting Palestine and supporting a proscribed terrorist group are not the same thing.
An honour to visit Sir Mark and @metpoliceuk to see them at work policing protests yesterday.

A reminder that 385 MP's voted for this & every LibDem, Plaid & SNP MP abstained. Only 22 MP's voted against.

Congratulations to the @metpoliceuk on the apprehension of another "terrorist"

The Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) is a proscribed terrorist group.
Yet its band marched through Belfast on 12 July 2025 without arrest.
Meanwhile, nearly 1,000 were detained yesterday for solidarity with Palestine Action.
The law is clearly not being applied evenly.

When elderly people, lawyers, vicars and doctors are being arrested for sitting peacefully, something has gone very very wrong.

Conor McGregor says he is a “holy man”
He’s a drug addict, an alcoholic, a whore, a cheat, a hooligan that attacks the elderly and spits on people, a supporter of Israel and there’s compelling evidence that he’s a rapist too.
Very holy 🤡

An aged lady who cannot believe there is a genocide going unanswered is arrested by 🇬🇧 police today.
Her crime. A placard saying:
“I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action"
Arrested under the Terrorism Act
A thousand people hold the same placard.

For the English apologists, the reason why we remember is that the Cromwellian wars led to the deaths of 40% of the population through violence, famine, disease, deportation, mass land confiscation & the end of the Gaelic system, a cultural genocide, (Britain suffered a 3% loss)

Writer @MariamBarghouti describes Israel's growing military operations in the occupied West Bank, which have displaced at least 40,000 Palestinians so far. “What we are seeing is an intensified campaign aimed at annexation of the West Bank," she says.
Israel's operations in West Bank are "de-facto annexation": Barghouti

My detractors cannot wrap their head around it: I am not paid by anyone for my work on Palestine, not even the UN. Special Rapporteurs serve pro bono. And I have so much fun at doing what I do, you know why? Because I despise bullies, mafias and apartheid. It is in my DNA, and I will fight all three happily till my last breath. Now, minions, get a life.

Israel carried out a massive attack in the West Bank today and I can’t find a story about it in the New York Times or BBC.
Probably the two most prominent media outlets in the Western world do not think this ⬇️ is newsworthy.

I urgently appeal to the authorities of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, as mediators of the ceasefire, to take decisive action to prevent any further breaches.

A Palestinian family walks back to their home in northern Gaza. They find that their home has been destroyed by the Israeli occupation forces.
But, amidst the ruin, the daffodils have grown.
'We grow again', they say, like the daffodil (which symbolises new hope and renewal).
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

First time since ceasefire went into effect two months ago, and its implementation deadline on 27 January.
