Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 1st time at @OrlandParkRec’s Centennial Park Aquatic Center. Absolutely 💧Splashtacular! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The slides & lazy river are top notch. Where’s your fav pool in the area? Always love to try new places and explore parts unknown. instagram.com/p/DLtIbVFv_zb/…

🔖 For Anthony Bourdain fans, I just learned of a new book by one of his longtime travel show buddies and fixers, Zamir Gotta. "The Fixer and the Chef" was released just a few days ago, and its release was just announced, on of all days #BourdainDay. Gotta read it, right?
Good morning, Bourdain Universe! Happy Heavenly Birthday, Tony! Thank you for your inspiration to share my life story! Kids! Gotta read it! amazon.com/dp/B0FFBQY3G6

In remembrance of .@ValKilmer⚡️(12/31/59 - 4/1/25). Here’s a tonic from my favorite of his movies, which I highly recommend, “The Saint” (1997). It actually used to make me tear up, it’s just so sonically beautiful. Composer: @GraemeRevell

A couple of ways we bid sayonara to #2024 and celebrated #Christmas, with our #family and #friends. Took it so much easier on ourselves. Highly recommend.

What's the one thing you're most loving getting to finally share from your childhood, with your little one(s) this winter holiday season? For me it's the 1997 #Anastasia movie and books. She found unfinished sheets of tracings inside. Now finished 27 years later, thanks to her👧.
A good friend of mine who goes way back with me is nominated for BEST NEW NONFICTION BOOK BY A CHICAGOAN in @Chicago_Reader's annual #BestOfChicago. If you'd love to show him support, click: "The City is Up for Grabs" by Gregory @RoyalPratt here: bestof.chicagoreader.com/art…. #BOC2024
The new documentary on John Williams that just came out on @DisneyPlus made no mention of his less popular & “blockbuster” film scores. Disappointing ☹️. I mean really, how can you not mention his score for “Sabrina” (1995)? Criminal. youtu.be/mGND0V8AfYw?si=mUZT…

As tired as I feel at the end of this #Halloween as a first grader’s mom, I know that life moves pretty fast.
To all you tired adults who volunteered your time to make today special for your family and/or a child—🫡 remember all the sweat, stress, and struggle will be worth it.
