I am watching "Scream" - Henry Winkler, Matthew Lillard and a great sound track. Like Scooby Doo without the dog. The Janitor at the school is dressed like Freddy Krueger. This is better and cleverer than I remembered.
Just watched "The Diplomat" on Netflix and recommend it as a top drama. Each episode has a cliffhanger ending, and I am already waiting for the next episode.
The story about the German Intelligence chief would make good material for another John Le Carré novel.
Reading this at the moment. 50 pages in and it is an interesting study on life in Wales as an immigrant Italian family. His father being carted away to an internment camp is quite the eye opener.
What happened to the coalition of the willing? The European jet set haven't made any selfies recently.
When you come to Germany it should be a part of the integration process that your religion, blood type and horoscope sign are used to identify the sausage you are compatible with. I am not weisswurst
Trying to improve my French. Watched "Garde A Vue" last night (subtitles on, in French) and it is a great, classic, cat and mouse detective story. It could've had an extra 30 minutes added and it would still have been thrilling. They do not do endings like that in films any more.
I think pork scratchings should be branded "fine food" so I could buy it in the supermarket in Germany.
In Mulhouse, France, there is a pub called Pub Fiction. I recommend it. Music & Football on television
I watched "The Heretic" yesterday and Hugh Grant is more convincing as a baddy than he was as love interest. He may be a modern Peter Cushing.
Completed 1st draft of book. Quite the milestone. Mostly non-fiction with examples taken from filmmaking, technology and work experience. I hope its good.
In Science Fiction films and others set in the future they need to include football results where England lose to Germany/Argentina/Italy and Egypt/Morocco/Cape Verde win the World Cup to make it more realistic. Maybe edit "Aliens" so Mother is asked the score by Bishop.
