The thing most people misunderstand is that God doesn’t just have one chosen people who go to heaven, and everybody else goes to hell.
There’s the entire group of all people who trust in God‘s redeemer Jesus Christ for salvation from Adam and Eve all the way to the last person born on this earth. All of those people avoid hell and get to spend eternity with God.
But then there are subdivisions within that group. There are the church age believers from Pentecost to the rapture, who are the bride of Christ, which does not apply to Elijah or David or Abel.
And then there is the nation of Israel, which is God‘s chosen people as a whole, but those members of Israel, who reject the Messiah are not in that big group I mentioned at the beginning. The promises to Israel will be fulfilled to those who are Israelites, who also trust in Christ.
The rest of the group is made up of people who don’t belong in either group because they were born before or after the church age and are not Jewish such as Noah, Melchizedek, and any other gentile believers in Christ, who meet thae criteria.
Who at the @NFL makes these stupid decisions? Is it NFL or @CBSSports? Because I watched the Bills v Ravens game, which ended a minute or two early, but now that the Chiefs game has started, which is supposed to be the next thing on the broadcast schedule, I’m being forced to watch the end of the Titans game which you only showed the last 30 seconds of but now it’s going into overtime so I’m going to miss the first part of the Chiefs game.
You guys need to make these games available on alternate channels if you’re going to pull this garbage.
And then immediately after they joined and showed the Broncos throw an incomplete pass, they went to commercial for five minutes even though the game was still ongoing (it was like 3rd down).
His gofundme is about to hit 600K as I write this. Forget employee of the month, this guy might be able to retire completely if this goes high enough.
And to those saying this "backfired" on the pranksters? The people who posted it probably got tons of exposure and got paid for the views of their viral video. I say these social media companies need to start banning accounts who harass and "prank" people.

I've never met one person who said, "I was going to vote for A, but then I got a bunch of junk mail and spam calls from B, so I've changed my mind."
I wish they'd stop wasting money on this stuff.
These past few months have been hard. There have been several things that have happened in my life and the lives of those around me that could easily lead to discouragement and feeling defeat leading to retreat. People have moved away from our church. We've had several deaths connected to the church as well as my own father-in-law just a few days ago. As I said, these things tempt us, like Peter walking on the water, to take our eyes off the Lord and begin to sink beneath the waves. Instead, we must keep our eyes firmly fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting in Him and continuing steadfast in our mission from Him to spread His love and His gospel to a lost and dying world.
Sunday I will be preaching on the final meal the Lord Jesus had with His closest disciples, and the statements he made during that supper that have impacted the body of Christ down through the centuries. He predicted His death. He predicted his suffering. He predicted his betrayal. And He predicted His return as the King. Three of those four have happened, and there's one still remaining that we are anticipating with joy and eagerness. Jesus Christ, the suffering Savior, is also our Sovereign and Lord, and He knows our suffering and pain. He will comfort and help at just the right time, and someday we will have no problems ever again. What a day that will be! Maranatha!
I have had many people claim that the Bible teaches that there is no crying in heaven. This is wrong.
I don't know if there will be crying in heaven. Some would respond, "well, there's no sin in heaven, so no crying." To which I say, "Jesus cried. Crying is not a sin."
The Bible promises that in eternity future, on the New Earth that Christ creates in Revelation 21, "there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” The Bible never makes such a promise for the people in heaven right now.
I'm not saying there IS crying in heaven, I'm only saying the Bible doesn't say there isn't.
I know it’s a longshot, but the only thing better than seeing the @Brewers get swept in the WS would be to see them get only 3 outs from the trophy and then lose the next four games to @RaysBaseball.
I just saw a commercial from @Michele_Tafoya where she states that she is a “pro choice Republican.”
Sorry Michele, I don’t vote for people who think that baby killing is ever OK. I realize that Flanagan is even further left than you are, but that doesn’t matter to me because you both think unborn humans don’t have the right to life.
Thought you would enjoy this, Lizzie. @farmingandJesus

Notice how authoritarian the wife/mother is. Also, all the female actors have agency, while the dad and son are viewed as negative (not allowed to change things, submissive, mocked and belittled).
This isn't egalitarian, it's matriarchal.
How to have cats and dogs live together in harmony in two steps.
Step one: teach the dog to obey your command to leave things alone. Hold a treat in the palm of your hand and when the dog tries to eat it, you close your hand and say "leave it." Then open your hand repeatedly, closing it and saying "leave it" every time the dog tries to eat it, until he finally stops trying and you can have your hand open for like 20 seconds. Then say "take it" and hold it out to him to eat. Reinforce this every time you feed him by having him sit and then "leave it" for like 10-20 seconds, so he gets used to getting your permission.
Step two. Put the cat and dog in the same room. Every time the dog looks at the cat or makes any move to the cat, say "leave it" until the dog finally learns to ignore the cat. The cat learns that the dog is not going to eat him, and eventually the cat will accept the dog. The dog meanwhile is in a constant state of "leave it" as concerns the cat, and you have peace between them.
To all those who believe the apostolic gift of healing is still in effect, please tell me: why didn’t Paul heal Trophimus if he still had this gift?
Last night I went to see a movie, and after seeing the protagonist fight through obstacle after obstacle, only to die at the end of the movie, I was sad. Not because this fictional character died, but because based on his actions and words, he represented all those who live "good lives", sacrificing for others, and still go to hell because they do not know Christ.
It's so sad that so many reject the salvation that is available in Christ.
Tonight at 6:15 I ordered pizza from @caseysgenstore for delivery. It said I should get it around 7pm. Casey's uses @DoorDash for their delivery. And so I waited....until 7:45 when the delivery tracker suddenly changed from "the dasher is waiting for your order" to "Casey's is getting your order ready."
I called the store. They said that the pizza had left the store about a half hour before. I never got it. They said they would remake the pizzas if I wanted to come pick them up. So I drove to the store. While I was there, the Dasher showed up asking for my order.
I have no idea what happened. All I know is that I ordered the pizza at 6:15, and if I had ordered carryout, I would have had my pizza by 6:45 at the latest. Instead, because of Door Dash, I didn't get my food until 8:15pm.
The Casey's employees were top-notch, but the Door Dash Delivery service gets zero stars from me, and I won't be depending on them for my pizza orders from now on.
I’m a Dispensationalist.
Quick summary of the view held by Ryrie, Walvoord, Pentecost, Woods, Ice and others:
• Take the Bible at face value, including prophecy
• Keep Israel and the Church distinct
• Expect a real future earthly kingdom
• Pre-tribulation rapture of the Church
• One way of salvation in every age
• God’s glory is the point of the whole story
That’s classic dispensationalism in everyday language.
