My sincere thanks to @HouseForeignGOP for inviting me to address this topic of great policy and personal importance.
“In October of 2023, our family joined the growing circle of American families devastated by fentanyl.”
Listen to @Heritage’s @SteveYates share his personal story of how the fentanyl crisis, fueled by China, ended up costing his own daughter’s life:
Beijing calls it routine.
Taiwan's NSC chief maps 53 Chinese ships, 34 of them warships, plus the Liaoning carrier group, from southern Japan to the Philippines.
One theater, three targets. "Denial defense in the First Island Chain" can't stay a slogan.

The #PLA is sending groups of vessels, including the #Liaoning carrier strike group, to exercise east of the #1stIslandChain. We’re staying vigilant about their activities. The simultaneous threat to #Taiwan, #Japan & the #Philippines is obvious.
Hegseth and Japan's Koizumi: "an effective denial defense in the First Island Chain."
The concrete piece: an AMRAAM missile assembly plant in Japan.
Right framing. Deterrence means making a move on Taiwan fail, with the magazine depth to back it.

Beijing's gray-zone squeeze on Manila keeps tightening.
54 Chinese navy and coast guard ships around the Philippines Oct 20-26, up from 31. Seventeen at Scarborough Shoal.
Pressure by attrition, the same playbook Taiwan lives with daily.

The real potential affordability crisis is not the one being advertised. It is the cost of turning back.
Main Street America deserves to hear that question asked clearly.

We're asking the wrong question about affordability.
Politicians keep focusing on today's gas, grocery, and housing prices.
The real question is whether America can afford to reverse the policies already moving in the right direction on the border, energy, technology, and this hemisphere.
The data is clear: Biden’s term produced the highest gas peak ($5.01) and the longest stretch of elevated inflation.
Returning to those policies means higher peaks and longer pain for families.

I met with Japan’s Minister of Defense Shinjirō Koizumi @shinjirokoiz to advance our shared vision of peace through strength.
Our strategic alignment is essential to building a credible denial defense—supported by increased investment, greater access, more realistic training, and stronger production of the munitions our forces need.

AFFORDABILITY CRISIS OR A CRISIS OF PRIORITIES? AND WHY IS THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD ENTERING THE MIDTERM CONVERSATION?
This week on Nation States with Yates, we're tackling two critical issues that deserve more than political talking points.
🇺🇸 AFFORDABILITY: Are Americans having the right conversation about inflation, gas prices, and the cost of living? More importantly, can we afford to change course on border security, energy, technology, and our national interests?
🌎 THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: Who are they, what do they believe, and why does this movement matter in American politics? We'll examine its origins, its ideology, and the questions voters should be asking.
No spin. No political theater. Just facts, context, and the tough questions that matter to America's future.
🎙️ Two special deep-dive episodes this week on Nation States with Yates.
Watch, listen, share, and join the conversation.
Stay strong, America.

Whether Lula won or lost, the procedures surrounding yesterday’s Brazilian election are highly questionable at best – and ought to remind everyone that Lula is one of the most corrupt figures in international politics. But no one on the Left cares about election integrity when it’s a Leftist figure screwing with it.

This, yes, and you know when Iran really was in a stronger strategic position? After stomping out the Green Revolution and receiving pallets full of megabucks in an unverifiable deal... during whose tenure as POTUS?
A forever moment captured during "the long wait" in October 2023. Daddies love holding their baby girl's hand. Tender conversation at a quiet time. Eternal love = victory.
