This is the oldest statue in London. Carved in the 2nd century, this effigy of Minerva stood within a Roman temple in Southwark. Rediscovered in the 19th century, the head of King Alfred was added of Coade stone in 1826 when it was installed in the garden at Trinity Church Sq.

The Tories wasted 8x as much on PPE during the pandemic as the CPTPP deal is expected to boost UK GDP over an entire decade. This is a pimple on an elephant. The fact they're leaning on their RW media pals to inflate the story to monstrously distorted proportions is pathetic.

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are intently watching an ant, which is only a tiny dot, dragging a bug far larger than itself. Blue: This ant has been dragging that huge beetle carcass for a good while. Green: Neat. Blue: It's been at it for like 20 minutes now. Green: Admirable determination. The foxes watch in surprise as the ant's catch is blown away. Blue: Oh no, the wind is blowing it away! Green: A tragedy in three parts. Elsewhere, two creatures beyond our comprehension are intently watching the foxes, who are only two tiny dots to them. The caption says "Meanwhile, on another level of reality:" Entity 1: What are these two doing? Entity 2: They've been watching ants. Entity 1: Neat.

This is the second lovely older teen skater story I have seen in a week and it's such a refreshing correction to the endless worry about Andrew Tate fans etc. Sometimes, the kids really are alright.

This little boy found an older skater to hold his hand as he attempted a trick. And when he landed it, he had the sweetest reaction 😭

It's finally here! The trailer for the ridiculously expensive-looking FENGSHEN, PART 1. The film, said to be "China's Lord of the Rings", has been in post-production for several years. In Chinese cinemas from July 20.
