Tips for serious Streamers/Content Creators - Get a business address (at minimum a PO Box) Use a mail center or a networking location that rents business mailing addresses for $20-$30 a month that will accept mail on your behalf. Nothing should point to your HOME ADDRESS! Have your Amazon Wishlist sent here. Some places will open your mail ahead of time if you request. - Form an LLC (use that address) - In the US? Get your LLCs EIN, business tax ID #, free at irs.gov (takes a few mins.) - Get a business bank account - Have all payments sent to that account and use it for anything you pay for (subs, bits, streaming gear, etc.) Link PayPal & Stripe to it - Save 25-30% for taxes (file quarterly if possible) - Use a financial tracker or at least use Google sheets to break everything down monthly. - Don’t use your real name, use your business name. - Request yourself to be removed from people finder websites. There are links at the bottom of them to do so. Treat content creation as a business, because it is, and protect yourself. ❤️

I don’t see a world where Twitch can stay at a 50/50 split. Other Streaming Options & Splits -Kick 95/5 -Patreon 92/8 (stream using YT unlisted, share link with Patrons) -Discord 90/10 (stream at 1440p with a chat using Stages) -YT 70/30 Other Content Sites -LemonSocial 85/15 or $199/mo with 5% fee -OF, Fansly, FanHouse 80/20 Yes they have some work arounds or not every feature Twitch has but they are evolving quickly. With these splits it’s worth it for CCs to explore them IMO. And everyone should be putting content on YT, that’s a give in.

3 Tips for Streaming on Twitch 1- Take off follower only mode! Unless you’re ACTIVELY fighting a bot situation, it’s going to turn people away. Let viewers interact w/ you & your content without forcing them to do something. Some streamers won’t raid if you have it enabled 😳

2- Enable VODs. If someone hears about you & wants to check out a past stream, or a viewer missed a cast, make it easy for them to watch. If you store VODs on YT then make them easy to find too/make a panel for it. Creator Dashboard> Settings> Stream> Store Past Broadcasts

3- Don’t have alerts in the middle of your scenes! Move alerts to the corner or side so viewers don’t miss gameplay. It’s annoying to watch an exciting moment happen and it gets covered up. No one will unfollow or unsub because the alert wasn’t blasted across the screen.
