i’ll take care of you in every universe. ( #MrKillSeries / #BlueprintSeries )

i’m now seeing non-fans calling D unprofessional in the quotes and replies to that thread when, in reality, he’s FAR from being unprofessional. people are now perceiving him that way because of a completely untrue narrative being pushed by a fan and that’s why we need to be more mindful of what we say. is that really the kind of image of D that you want to portray to people outside the fandom? especially when we know it’s not true in the first place? there’s a difference between expressing genuine concerns and presenting your own assumptions as facts. once those narratives spread beyond the fandom, people who don’t know him will form opinions based on something that was never true to begin with. D worked hard to build his career and reputation, and we also know how hard he worked to make DT possible. it’s incredibly unfair for that to be undermined by baseless speculation, especially from people who are supposed to support him. our words have consequences, whether we intend for them to or not. please don’t let unnecessary overthinking turn into something that could harm the very person you claim to care about. this is so upsetting to see.
