I dig this.
Using Google Earth, I discovered a massive ruin complex that's completely undocumented! Situated in a remote part of the Andes at over 13,000 elevation, this site features dozens of buildings, and what I'm dubbing, "The Arena," a semi-buried structure over 100 feet long!

What could have created tens of thousands of nearly identical elliptical depressions across the eastern United States? @DabblersDen believes the answer may be an ancient cosmic impact over Michigan that sent massive amounts of glacial ice crashing back to Earth. But when did it happen? Chris's latest research points to a much older event than he originally believed. Here’s a preview of Thursday’s episode. In 2014, Scientists discovered a massive hidden ocean inside the earth, containing 3X MORE water than ALL our oceans COMBINED. ⚠️ So HOW did ancients know about it at the time of Noah’s Ark?? We’ve all heard “Rain fell upon the earth for 40 days and 40 nights” in Genesis 7:12. However, the verse immediately before it: “…all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened” in Genesis 7:11, is often overlooked! Many dismiss the ‘Great Flood’ as a mere bedtime story, and say that 40 days/nights of rain wouldn’t have flooded the earth. But, the fact Genesis 7:11 speaks of massive amounts of water expelling from inside the earth and flooding the surface….(and many thousands of years before its modern discovery!), is an extremely curious detail, don’t you think? 🧐

We were once told humans reached the Americas 13,000 years ago. But White Sands pushed that to at least 22,000. Now contested sites in Mexico and Brazil point to 33,000 and potentially more than 50,000 years ago. The old timeline has already collapsed. But how far back will it go?

We found surgery from 31,000 years ago But this is 24,000 years earlier than we thought. In a cave in Borneo, archaeologists found a child whose lower left leg had been deliberately removed. The wound healed, and they survived for another six to nine years. How did Stone Age surgeons control the bleeding, prevent infection and keep the patient alive in a tropical rainforest?

North America had a copper industry 9,000 years ago. But this is as early as utilitarian copper-tool production anywhere in the world. Around the Great Lakes, Indigenous communities mined nearly pure copper and transformed it into tools, weapons and ornaments. Thousands of ancient mining pits remain. One older estimate suggests that up to 1.5 billion pounds of copper ore was extracted across the Archaic period, although the true figure is unknown. Then, after thousands of years, practical copper-tool production declined. Technology does not always move in a straight line.

The Younger Dryas wasn't just a climate shift. It marked a turning point in human and natural history that shows up in the archaeological record as abandonment. Sites occupied for centuries prior to this boundary suddenly go quiet. The Clovis culture, which had established itself across North America, appears to vanish from the record at this same horizon. Megafaunal extinctions sweep across the continent during this same narrow window. When you line up the geological evidence, the archaeological record, and the extinction data, they all point to the same moment in time. Something happened at the Younger Dryas boundary that fundamentally disrupted both human settlement patterns and the broader ecosystem. The question isn't whether there was a major event. The question is what kind of forcing mechanism could produce that constellation of effects simultaneously across such a wide geographic area.

Serpent Mound is 1,300 feet long. We’ve been digging into it, coring it and arguing over it for more than a century. And we still can’t agree on who built the damn thing. Some evidence points to Adena people around 300 BC. Other evidence points to Fort Ancient people more than a thousand years later. There’s even a good argument that both periods are represented. One of the most recognizable earthworks in America and its basic timeline is still an argument. I love archaeology for exactly this reason.

New discovery indicates that Denisovans were 8in TALLER than the average man today I’ve asked before and I’ll ask again: Were Denisovans the ‘Nephilim Giants’ described in the Bible? Btw, the discovered bones were found on the SEAFLOOR! Gee, almost as if a Great Flood 🌊 actually happened… (it did, regardless if these bones are of an unrelated timeframe) Bottom line: The Denisovans were indeed significantly larger than both ancient and modern day Humans. I know some academics that owe me an apology for when they mocked my reporting on this two years ago 🙃

The Bible mentions the Hittites dozens of times. But many scholars doubted the powerful kingdom ever existed. Then archaeologists uncovered their capital in Turkey. Hattusa: the ruins of a Bronze Age superpower, whose archives would eventually yield some 30,000 clay tablets. The Hittites had rivalled Egypt, signed one of the world's earliest surviving international peace treaties, and dominated much of Anatolia for centuries. We didn't just forget a kingdom. We forgot one of the great powers of the ancient world, until its capital was identified in 1906.
