NOVA (SN68) is moving from hit discovery into hit-to-lead optimization.
@metanova_labs is developing a Hit-to-Lead Optimization Agent with @chutes_ai and @onepot_ai, combining an algorithm that won a NOVA Blueprint competition with chemical databases spanning billions of compounds.
The goal is to help researchers explore molecular modifications, compare strategies, and prioritize candidates based on affinity, selectivity, physicochemical properties, and synthesizability. Compounds from the Onepot databases can be delivered in 5–7 business days.
There's also an important confidentiality component. With Chutes integrating domain-specific models into verified Trusted Execution Environments( TEES), the collaboration aims to support inference on external infrastructure while keeping sensitive pharmaceutical research data protected and under organizational control.
What's particularly interesting is the move from an algorithm developed through open competition to a tool that can support proprietary drug discovery programs.
This is another step in connecting what the network produces with the iterative work required to advance candidates. The team continues building out that path.
NOVA Hit-to-Lead Optimization Agent
In collaboration with @chutes_ai and @onepot_ai
We're developing a Hit-to-Lead optimization agent that integrates an algorithm developed by a NOVA Blueprint winner, extending NOVA's capabilities beyond hit discovery and into the iterative optimization of small molecules.
The system combines a domain-specialized AI agent with proprietary combinatorial chemical databases supplied by our partner Onepot AI, spanning billions of possible compounds, that are delivered within 5-7 business days.
Researchers will be able to guide the agent in developing, comparing and refining optimization strategies, exploring chemical modifications and prioritizing candidates based on predicted affinity, selectivity, physicochemical properties and specific binding interactions.
Confidentiality is a central design requirement. Pharmaceutical R&D involves valuable intellectual property, including compound structures, targets, emerging chemical series and optimization strategies that cannot be exposed publicly.
The Chutes team integrated domain specific models so that we can run inference in their verified Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), with encrypted communication and controlled access to proprietary databases and project records. This architecture is intended to support confidential inference on external infrastructure while preserving organizational control over sensitive research data.
Finding a molecule with promising predicted affinity is only the beginning. Hit-to-Lead optimization involves balancing multiple, often competing objectives, including potency, selectivity, physicochemical properties and synthesizability, before progressing toward experimental activity and ADME validation.
The next step is to integrate the agent into our own Hit-to-Lead development program.
For NOVA, this represents an important step toward translating algorithms developed through open competition into tools for proprietary drug discovery programs, including our own asset-development pipeline and those of external research partners.

The cost of doing business on Bittensor this year was getting steep. In fact, the average TAO price of registering a subnet in 2026 was 638 TAO, or around $159,000 at the time of each registration.
• The peak was 2,633 TAO (about $796K at the time) on May 8.
• New teams would either need to be well funded from Bittensor fund or get fundraised by someone like @bitstarterAI to have a chance to start their own subnet.
On October 13th the stakes changed. Prior to this change, it took 8 days for a subnet price to reach the price it was prior to the current registration. This meant a flurry of registrations could keep the price high for over a week, pricing out smaller teams.
• That time is now cut in half, and the prior price only takes 4 days to be reached.
• Theoretically, if a subnet registration does not take place 4 days after the last price is reached, the 1 TAO floor is then reached.
Now, with this change, the latest registration price was 224.64 TAO, about a third of the average TAO price this year. This makes acquiring a subnet a lot more attainable and affordable for aspiring teams.
Another change that was made was the immunity period for new subnets. Immunity is the state of being safe from being deregistered from the chain.
• The prior immunity period was 120 days. Now it is 60 days.
• This change puts new subnet's feet to the fire and forces them to be productive projects on the network sooner rather than later.
• At 60 days, a young subnet's price matters as much as what it has built.
Since all 128 subnet slots are full, the lowest priced subnet on roughly a 1-day EMA, that does not have immunity, will be deregistered when someone pays the current registration price for a subnet.
What are the consequences of these changes?
• Subnet registration entries are now cheaper, but turnover is much faster.
• Younger subnets with weak prices and very low liquidity carry even more risk than before.
It's rarely been easier to acquire a subnet, but it's never been harder to stay afloat. The chain, as always, rewards productivity, true value, and acceptance from the TAO holders. The pace has quickened, and the progress continues to accelerate.

We turned the Tesla flying car scene into a playable experience with 404.
Every 3D object in the scene was built with Three.js code, written by an AI coding agent pointed at the 404 game recipe.
The geometry is generated in code, while textures and skies are brought in through Atlas, allowing the entire experience to run directly in the browser.
With the 404 game generator, you can build anything from a vehicle or character to a city block, full environment, or playable game.
All you have to do is give your agent a simple prompt, point it to the repo, and start building.

AI detection is about more than identifying AI-generated content. It also means protecting genuine human writing from being wrongly flagged.
That’s what makes @ai_detection (SN32)'s latest multilingual benchmark results worth examining.
Tested on DetectRL-X (ACL 2026), It's AI reported the following accuracy across four languages:
• Arabic: 99.8%
• German: 99.5%
• French: 99.4%
• Spanish: 96.0%
The evaluation covered multiple writing domains and approximately 12,000 human and AI texts per language.
Just as important, its reported false-positive rates on real student writing remained below 1% across all four languages.
A detector must do both well: identify AI-generated content and avoid misclassifying genuine human work.
It's AI also reports 98.3% accuracy on the English RAID benchmark and the top position on MGTD.
Full results, methodology and datasets:
its-ai.org/en/accuracy
Our multilingual accuracy results are in 🇦🇪🇩🇪🇫🇷🇪🇸
We benchmarked It’s AI on DetectRL-X (ACL 2026), a new multilingual benchmark covering 6 real-world writing domains, modern LLMs and AI-edited text. ~12K human and AI texts per language:
🇦🇪 Arabic: 99.8%
🇩🇪 German: 99.5%
🇫🇷 French: 99.4%
🇪🇸 Spanish: 96.0%
But accuracy is only half the story. A detector that flags honest work is useless, so we also tested every language on real student writing:
🇦🇪 0.89% false positives (AR-AES)
🇩🇪 0.48% (DARIUS)
🇫🇷 0.56% (E-CALM)
🇪🇸 0.72% (CAES, 20K+ texts)
Under 1% in every language.
In English: 98.3% on RAID and #1 on MGTD, ahead of GPTZero and Originality AI.

The migration is two days away, starting with the first 5%. Your GENOME on Base converts into a locked NIOME position on Bittensor Subnet 55. Here is everything you need to be ready, and to do it safely.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱
Two wallets, set up before the day:
• A Base wallet holding your GENOME (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, or another Base wallet).
• A Bittensor wallet to receive your NIOME on Subnet 55 (Polkadot.js, Talisman, SubWallet, or Nova).
• Your receiving Bittensor coldkey should not already hold a live Subnet 55 lock, so your delivery can be verified cleanly.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:
When the portal opens, you connect both wallets, give consent, bind your Base address to your Bittensor coldkey, approve the exact amount, then deposit.
From there, your GENOME is escrowed in a non-upgradeable Base contract, your NIOME is delivered to the coldkey you proved you control, and delivery is verified before any GENOME is burned. If it does not complete, your GENOME is refundable.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲:
A locked NIOME conviction position on Subnet 55. It is staked, not a liquid wallet balance, and the lock reduces over time.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀:
• Up to 100,000 GENOME per Base address.
• One migration per address.
• A fixed snapshot conversion rate.
• Very small amounts may not be eligible, due to a Bittensor minimum.
The official migration link goes live on October 28, here on this account, so treat any link before then as fake. No one will ever ask for your seed phrase, because the migration never needs one. Before you sign, confirm the approval matches the exact amount you chose, and keep your transaction receipts until the dashboard confirms your migration is complete.
Get your two wallets ready now, and you will be set the moment the portal opens.

The problem with #Bittensor is..
If you spend even a week not keeping up with whats happening.. you end up so far out of the loop its a fucking nightmare trying to catch up
Theres just so much happening across the ecosystem, which is constantly changing
And thats before you even get into what individual subnets are building
Its honestly ridiculous
I'm been pre occupied with life shit this week..
But I usually spend a lot amount of time researching this stuff and still feel like I'm constantly playing catch up
Its a good problem to have..
But fuck me, this ecosystem doesn't know how to sit still
The moment you're out the loop.. you're fucked
