he’s about to make me cry, lando you gave this year everything and have a lot to be proud of
“Guys, it wasn’t the best of defensive championship of my career, my first one, but not much you can do in formula one I’m afraid”
“I felt like I’ve had an amazing season, but it just doesn’t, turn out to be that well”
max: “you’ve done the best you can I think, circumstances”

lando: "if you go back to the stats last year of success in the rain, your mind will probably automatically go to one person that you’re thinking of"
max: "i know who i’m thinking of"
lando: "who?.. so am i, so it’s all of you. you’re thinking of one person. but if you actually go to races that included rain, guess who came out on top 😏 *shows his dancing in the rain card*"
he knows his facts
the way even without the vsc lando still loses the lead in madrid bc they literally dunked a 7 sec pit stop on his head 😂 and people forget ab this bc the vsc ptsd hit harder
this attempt to look like he cares after the backlash to his “handling” of the sg incident is laughable
Andrea Stella has said McLaren is still waiting for "compensation" for what happened to Lando Norris at the Spanish GP in Madrid, with the team principal revisiting the saga after a one-stop gamble at the United States Grand Prix yielded fifth place for the Briton.

i just want to emphasize again how insane lando's pace on the one-stop was. on lap 34 it was projected max would catch and pass lando in 4 laps on his brand new mediums. lando held him off until lap 47
mexico 23 is one of landos underrated races. after a qualifying blunder by both driver and team left him starting 17th, he fought his way up to 8th before a red flag and badly timed pit stop cost him positions, but he recovered brilliantly from 14th to finish 5th, overtaking eight drivers in the final 35 laps.
he described it as “one of the best stints i’ve probably had ever,” praising the amazing pace, good overtakes, and hard racing
