Day 4 of cotton #plant26. Planting dry, spraying, then starting pivot in hopes to get it wet enough for emergence over several days. Very hopeful for rain soon.
We don’t make a habit of working on Sunday but a good chance of rain is in the forecast staring mid week. We started planting triticale and radish last week for cows expected in mid to late November so gotta get with it. #eatmorebeef #wearmorecotton
Last herbicide application for the year. Starting irrigation behind this and hoping for rain on the non irrigated soon. #wearcotton

As we head into another special session - this time focused on school vouchers - the words of my late friend Jay Leeson could not be more important: “The more you vote against your place the less you have to come home to.” scottbraddock.com/2023/10/a-… #TxLege
Enjoying popsicles and watching Santiago on the porch after eating wieners with their hands. Grampie gives a little leeway.

In the Netherlands today they brought in military equipment to stop tractors from taking part in the farmers protest.
The government is planning to grab the farmers land and then they try to stop protests against it.
That's not something a free country does.

I guess the price is gonna be up again next season. Thanks again for putting share holders over customers momma Deere. You’re the best.
1” +/- of rain everywhere with hopefully more to come. Finally getting to shut these wells off. #blessed
