Magda Elkadi Saleh sits at the center of Tampa’s Islamic school network. She has founded and led institutions including the American Youth Academy (the rebranded continuation of the Islamic Academy of Florida), Universal Academy of Florida, and Bayaan Academy. These schools now participate in Florida’s school-choice voucher programs - routing public education dollars into the first stage of a parallel Islamic infrastructure. Her father, Ahmed Elkadi, was the national leader (Mas’ul) of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood from 1984 to 1994. He was instrumental in building the movement’s American infrastructure, co-founding the Muslim American Society, and holding leadership positions including President of the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), which holds title to hundreds of mosques and Islamic properties nationwide as waqf. Her maternal grandfather, Mahmoud Abu-Saud, worked closely with Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna in Egypt and later settled in Florida. Saleh has also served in leadership roles with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and works with CAIR-Florida - the same organization Governor DeSantis designated (along with the Brotherhood) under state law citing Holy Land Foundation records. While Florida has labeled the Brotherhood and CAIR as terrorist-linked entities, her network continues to expand with public legitimacy and public dollars: schools shaping the next generation, professional associations building internal referral systems, and a documented institutional footprint in Tampa. This is not a secret, I went to Congress and exposed this - but it seems no one in your state cares!? Tampa local leaders even honored her! You can not make this up! This is the multigenerational Brotherhood-linked infrastructure operating in plain sight in a red state, funded in part by Florida taxpayers. 🚨JUST IN: An American Airlines flight attendant used her free travel perks to fly to Florida and help scam a 75-year-old woman out of more than $25,000. Destiny Blake, 24, of Brooklyn, was arrested at Miami International Airport by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on a Flagler County warrant. Authorities say the scheme began with a fake Publishers Clearing House call telling the victim she had won. She was directed to send a $500 gift card and later withdrew over $14,000, with Blake receiving $14,220 in cash and Zelle payments. Blake then flew standby from New York to Daytona Beach using her employee benefits, stayed in Palm Coast, and visited the victim’s home for about 15 minutes. Investigators later linked her to 88 unauthorized charges totaling over $10,500 on the victim’s cards, including Apple products, Uber rides, and an eBay order shipped to her address. Total losses: approximately $25,310. Sheriff Rick Staly said most flight attendants use their benefits to see the world, but Blake used hers to target a senior. She faces felony charges for organized fraud against a victim over 65, identity theft, and grand theft. She was released on a $30,000 bond.
