As it relates to $AVGO this is what I visualize happened.

SCOOP: Broadcom CEO Hock Tan was getting impatient.
He needed lenders to commit $40 billon in the largest AI debt deal ever—so Anthropic could afford TPUs—but some were getting cold feet.
In the end, Broadcom’s CEO held 11th-hour talks with bank executives over the weekend to get them to finalize their commitments. Broadcom also agreed to higher interest rates on the loans, sweetening the deal.

I think $AMKR reaction post market is broadly positive for state of willingness to own / buy speculative semis here...
the whole story is about 5 years-out adv packaging ramp up. no one cares about apple related headwinds.
amkor is pillaging their balance sheet in the hopes of scaling into an ASE of the americas, and the desire to own equity in that in the present is a voting mechanism by the market on what the future holds.
good coin to track for AI sentiment.
if its down tomorrow that is a negative!
Probably going to take the market down this week …
Not to mention every SINGLE hedge fund on planet earth is balls long Brazil ($meli $nu $xp etc) and will cause degrossing.
Ironically decent time to think about bidding some BRL equities in this sell off.
Need to dust off my USDBRL forward curve and get to work.
With Lula winning the runoff in the Brazilian elections, I fear we might be seeing the start of an explosion of left wing populism winning elections all over the world.
I expect the rise of Mamdanistan & El-Sayed in Mishighani will lead to even more interest in this radical left ideology. It’s important we don’t just fight these at the polls in America but take the fight overseas as well before it comes here !
It’s time for the right to come together and fund the fight on the left overseas? And who better to lead and manage the funds for this fight than me? If your interested in getting involved reach out! We can take all the money we can get to fight these socialist ideas! There is no price too high to pay for your freedom!
Issue with BESI is you have to deal with ASML encroaching now as a head wind

5) take a long term view. Know you’re going to get kicked in the nuts a few times along the way. Hold stocks without leverage that can survive any storm. Bet on technologies in early stages of transformation (advanced packaging $besi, testing $6857) over plain price bottlenecks
If you listen to his tone, how he acts now makes a lot more sense.
He has a case of “scientists (me) know better than the normies”
Less veiled condescension here but very obvious what Dario is thinking.
In aggregate - this is probably a major derisking event for $MRNA. analyst tells me we need like 3 other indications at first line to make the math work.
So likely just gaps up anyway $CRWD style?
Can’t decide here but don’t count people out who want to believe in a transformative cancer “vaccine”
Speaking to my FDO (forward deployed oncologist) right now who is live at $MRNA presentation. Notes so far:
- no standing ovation
- death imbalance bad
- boots on ground are not jacked up about extension to tougher cancers
- HR naturally being compared to neoadjuvant key only
Doesn’t quite seem like home run so far, obviously excited for the space though to continue to take off.
Would be curious if anyone trying to trade Moderna on the weekend on these data points.

“I’ll always speak to President Erdogan. He is a friend of mine, as you know. And I’ll always make him happy"
"Don't mess around with him... He's a tough cookie and a fantastic guy."
Rick - really poor decision to post this.
Canada is lost. This is what the Left does. Socialism at home is never enough.
By embracing Communist China, and now Turkey, PM Carney has turned his back on America & made clear that Canada sides with dictators, terrorists & thugs who threaten the security of the U.S. & sovereignty of our allies.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Turkey is a NATO ally of both the United States and Canada since 1952. Official Canadian statements describe the new Strategic Partnership with Türkiye as deepening cooperation between the two NATO allies on trade, energy, defence and security.

the cantor analyst brett knoblauch did an excellent job initiating on $QMCO today.
obviously baby gets thrown out with bathwater in these sorts of tapes (pun intended), but LTO tape for secure cold-storage (as data retention trends upward for AI context / training and agentic cybersecurity concerns continue to grow) is a relatively idiosyncratic story.
quantum corp is not a quantum computing company, but it's likely to benefit from quantum-enabled cyber risks.
for all you guys that like $P and $NTAP this is a pretty compelling case in my view.
what i think would be great is if IBM spun out its LTO tape business and merged it into QMCO...
