This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

Honestly this world is fucked.
We are importing Islam on an industrial scale
We are not allowed to criticise Islam
We are about to appoint a tsar to enforce Islamophobia laws
We allow them to preach hatred with impunity
We allow them to act outside our electoral laws
We allow them to take over streets to pray and blast out the call to prayer
Every country where they become a majority block turns into an Islamic shit hole

As Black History Month draws to a close, I want to reflect on what we do tomorrow.
It was important that this year’s theme was ‘honouring our communities’, recognising people whose contributions are a vital part of everyday life but often go uncelebrated.
But to do this, the British state needs to move beyond warm words and confront our imperial past, so that we can build an anti-racist future.
That means heeding calls for reparatory justice and tackling systemic racism across our institutions.
Been working in the City of London for over 20 years now.
I am quite tired of hearing how somehow the city of London is pulling strings financially around the world.
It is an absolute shell of its former self.
I remember being filled with so much hope when I started, but year after year it over regulates and degrades itself further to oblivion.
Strolling though the city for lunch yesterday it was just full of tourists
People are literally just coming to view the corpse.

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland).
You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.
