👏👏 Imagine lecturing people on "fake narratives" when you don't even know who the accused and complainant are 🤫 Your theory: Employees fake terror threats as an "alibi for not doing work but get paid". The actual fact: Rakesh Handoo (the accused) lives in Faridabad and is NOT a government employee. Meanwhile, Rohit Raina who IS a PM Package employee working on the ground in Baramulla didn't ask for leave; he filed the police FIR against Handoo for allegedly doctoring a terror poster to target him! How does a guy in Faridabad get a "shield from office work" in Kashmir, and why would an employee seeking an "alibi" report the fake poster to the police himself? Basic logic just left the chat.

The PDP and its ecosystem should stop circling the Rakesh Handoo case like political vultures. The case is still under investigation. Rakesh Handoo has not been convicted by any court. He has spent years as a Kashmiri Pandit activist and community well-wisher. Yet PDP voices have already rushed to brand him, condemn him and use an unresolved case as another convenient weapon against Kashmiri Pandits. Zuhaib Yousuf Mir calling him a “terrorist” before the judicial process has concluded is not courage. It is political recklessness. And to @IltijaMufti_ and the @jkpdp leadership: spare Kashmiri Pandits your sanctimonious lectures on terrorism, victimhood and morality. Before sitting in judgement over a Kashmiri Pandit activist, perhaps confront the deeply uncomfortable legacy surrounding your own political inheritance—the 1986 anti-Kashmiri Pandit violence in Anantnag, around which serious allegations concerning Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s political role have persisted for decades, and the 1989 release of five jailed militants following Rubaiya Sayeed’s kidnapping. The audacity to inherit such a political legacy and then lecture Kashmiri Pandits on terrorism would be laughable if our history were not written in blood and exile. This is a dispute involving two Kashmiri Pandits. The PDP and hostile sections of the Valley’s political-commentary establishment have no right to hijack it, turn it into a communal spectacle, and use it to once again gaslight a community that was driven from its homeland. For decades, Kashmiri Pandits have watched the same theatre: minimise our killings, rationalise our persecution, question our exodus, and then seize upon any controversy involving a Pandit to put the victim community itself on trial. Enough.

Ah, @IltijaMufti_ you know you love your favorite side hustle: turning absolutely any legal dispute into a communal circus (something most K politicians love doing). ​Both the complainant (Rohit Raina) and the accused (Rakesh Handoo) are Kashmiri Pandits. It’s an intra-community legal case involving a personal and professional feud & not some grand communal conspiracy. Rakesh is being investigated for over amplifying and possibly modifying a genuine threat letter by a separatist / militant organisation. He lives in Faridabad and ignored summons to appear in Baramulla and was hence arrested. ​But of course, you’re trying to use one guy’s cyber-terror arrest to gaslight the entire Kashmiri Pandit community. Check the facts. Half baked knowlege of the facts followed by communal tweets by someone who may become a CM in the future - we Kashmiris are screwed.
