BREAKING: Tactical evacuations are underway in Ta Ta Creek, a small rural neighbourhood northeast of Kimberley due to a new wildfire start.
BREAKING: Evacuation Order extended eastwards across Kootenay River to include Wasa as the Wait Creek wildfire has blown up to over 160 hectares in a matter of hours tonight.
Things are getting scary in the East Kootenay.
The City of Kimberley is under an evacuation alert as a couple wildfires are burning west of the city.
