.@russellmania621 one-word assessment of Jayden Daniel's play through four games: "Fine". His reasoning: "I need you to win more. I need you to perform better in moments."

.@russellmania621 believes Mike Locksley's dismissal was not a true firing, rather a "negotiated settlement".

Kevin Sheehan believes in Jayden Daniels 100 percent, but you can still have "a concern with his understanding of basic football 101 management" and "on 4th-and-2, you do not throw it into the stands. Everybody knows that."

Kevin Sheehan stresses that being critical of Jayden Daniels for two very costly mistakes in the last two Commanders games doesn't mean he has lost faith that he is Washington's franchise QB and an elite-level talent

"When he threw the ball into the stands and an illegal shift was called, did anybody think San Francisco was going to accept that penalty and let him kick a field goal?" Kevin Sheehan says about Jayden Daniels' throwaway. "That's the part that's concerning."

The debacle at the end of the Giants game is more on Dan Quinn and David Blough than the QB, but throwing the ball out of bounds on 4th-and-2? That's 97% on Jayden Daniels, says Kevin Sheehan

The 4th-and-2 throwaway in isolation isn't cause for concern, but coming right after the end-of-game mistake that cost the Commanders a chance at a win over the Giants means it is part of what could be an issue for the QB.

How about getting Jake Dickert to Maryland? Kevin Sheehan wants the Terps to hire the Wake Forest head coach because he can "coach 'em up" and "get more out of less."

Maryland has fired head football coach Mike Locksley after a 2-5 start to the season. He was 39-54 with the Terps.

Jayden Daniels has "been playing at a high level," Kevin Sheehan says of the Commanders QB. Against the 49ers in the second half, "He was poised. He was calm, and he was delivering dimes when they needed it. And he delivered one at the end."

"You can do two things simultaneously. You can praise him and compliment him for everything he does well and be constructively critical of mistakes he makes." – Kevin Sheehan on Commanders QB Jayden Daniels

What kind of play call was that? On the intentional grounding penalty that put the Commanders in a deep hole on the final drie, why did David Blough run four verts?
