💙 Today, we remember the great Walter Smith.
On the fifth anniversary of his passing, we remember with immense affection one of the greatest figures in Rangers Football Club's history.

We don't carve pumpkins in Scotland, we carve neeps (turnips)!*
I think they look far scarier and that's what they're for, to ward off bad spirits, keeping us safe with their light.
*of course people do carve pumpkins too, but this is the real tradition.

Wrong Terraform version. Missing az CLI extension. Python 3.9 vs 3.11. Sound familiar?
Dev containers fix "works on my machine" for infra teams for good, same Terraform, same Azure CLI, same extensions, every time, for everyone.

Until last week, men over 50 were entitled to a free PSA prostate cancer check. But the government has now decided to withdraw that right. I cannot for the life of me work out what their reasoning might be.

Curling has been part of my life since I was 15, so I’m pleased to share I’ve been appointed as a Board Director at @ScottishCurling.
A chance to give back to a sport that’s shaped my teamwork, leadership and career — and to support its future growth. 🥌

Tonight's meeting in Auchtertool about the 600MW AI data centre.
Fifers are furious. Looks like Fife Council fast-tracking data centre despite it:
- Consuming half of Scottish household electricity
- No Environmental Impact Assessment EIA
- Looking like it has landed from space
9 years ago today, the Glasgow Azure User Group started.
I never imagined lead to 50+ meetups, new skills, friendships, and opportunities.
It’s been stressful at times, but it’s helped shape both my career and confidence. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey.
9 years ago, the first Glasgow Azure User Group meetup happened… in a Starbucks ☕
Since then: 50+ meetups and an incredible community built around Azure and learning together.
Proud to be Scotland’s first (and UK’s second) Azure user group. When did you first join us?
