Anyone who knows me knows I’ve been chasing the perfect dynasty fantasy game for years. Today we’re finally showing it 👇 I've played fantasy since I can remember, and I've spent the last 6+ years as a player, a backer and an operator in these games. Pursuit is the game I always wanted to play. Right now fantasy gives you two options. On one end, your free home league. 10 buddies, 3 drop out, half are mid, nothing to show for it, and nobody outside the group knows you won. On the other, DFS. Won by the top 1%, resets every week with no progress to build towards, and you own nothing. There's nothing in the middle for the enthusiast and there are millions of us. Sorare was my first inspiration. I was one of their earliest users and played for about 4 years, telling the team the whole time: we need more data, we need these features, the rewards don't feel right. Always coming soon, never came. The game ultimately devolved into the opposite of what they set out to create, which is a shame. Others have come and gone too. same story: built by people who don't play their own game and don't listen to the people who do. I watched it happen from the other side of the table too, in 4+ years backing sports, gaming and crypto companies at Sfermion. So we are building Pursuit for the enthusiast. For us, for you. Your cards never expire. players retire and rookies come in, and the whole game is built around that, so there's always someone new to chase and your team keeps going season after season. Rip packs, level up your dupes, chase the players you need. Always something to do. Data has always been my edge in these games, and none of them gave me enough of it. In pursuit it's all built in: projections, matchups, form, every stat you'd want, you can have it in any shape you want. Why crypto? It lets a small team build and ship faster, it gets people in quicker, and you actually own your cards. Not crypto for crypto's sake. @monad is a really exciting place to build with folks who just get it 🫡 Why us? @techld1 and I have worked together at startups on and off for 10+ years. we both come from finance and data. It's how we think and how we play. We built Pursuit to work for any sport and to keep adapting as we learn. The game isn't perfect, yet. But we're obsessive about feedback and this is the only thing we care about, delivering the best dynasty fantasy sports game. This is day one.
