5/6 On National Voter Registration Day, Google's "Register to Vote" reminders weren't evenly distributed. Nationwide, 56% went to one side of the political spectrum. Just 14% to the other.

EXAS ELECTION WATCH: GOOGLE'S REGISTER-TO-VOTE REMINDERS
On September 15, 2026, Tech Watch Project captured Google's homepage voter-registration reminders through its Texas monitoring network.
The distribution was strikingly uneven: 67%, 25%, 8%, and 0% across four participant groups.
These percentages represent the share of reminders captured in each group.
