built my inspiration bookmarks as a library my coding agent can read, instead of a folder I forget. paste a link, the video and the author come with it, and MCP hands the collection to the agent

I've been updating Compositor almost every day since launch. Really proud of how far it's come. If you haven't tried it in a while, give it another shot. I think its filters are better than Photoshop's and most can also be used as non-destructive adjustment layers
I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor. robbietilton.com/compositor I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS. I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details. The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.

We’ve officially reached the point where it’s easier & takes less time to deliver a fully coded app to a client than it does to design it by hand in Figma.

My favorite design workflow right now: build the real thing in Claude Code, then use @tpitre’s Figma Console MCP to pull the most important interface decisions and components back into Figma. Code for the big picture, @figma for the details. Having a blast. 🤓

Duo-Man is now Deck-Man! Expanding my app to have a unique experience on all platforms and not just the Duo, so it only makes sense to have a better name reflecting that. See you October 23 on the App Store!

Building a 5-disc CD changer for iPhone Duo 💿 Unfold the phone and the jewel case opens. Then load the disc into the carousel. Penta is already on the App Store. Duo support coming soon! Demoed on @bitrig, which has the best Duo simulator!

I've compiled a curated list of articles, research papers on design and computing. viditb.com/hci/ I've curated a list of 10 readings everyone must read, along with a bigger canon of 112 papers. For anyone interested in design and HCI this should be a helpful resource.

okay so I'm having way too much fun with my personal website, i've made a few tools for designers to use, Glass Studio, Riso/Paper/Slice, ASCII_GEN, Stamp Press, Gradient Gen, Flow Field, Glyph Forge, and Type Playground (so far) and then also made it so you can play PONG in the computer as well. love the sound design as well, especially that "go back" button on the bottom of every design tool page, try it out: alexispresa.com would love to see what you create ❤️

AI is a tool. You can use it to think for you. Or you can use it to learn and try things you wouldn't have attempted before. I tell everyone at Figma: we hired you because you can think. We expect you to think. Don't outsource your thinking to AI. Social media is not reality. Things are never as good or bad as they seem. Seeing things as they are and seeking truth are skills to develop. Curiosity must be cultivated. Pulling the level of a slop/slot machine can be weirdly exhausting and depleting. It can be hard and even anxiety inducing to step away when things are moving so fast, but time away from the computer is a must right now.
Replying to @zoink
@zoink how do you keep your independent thinking in this tsunami of tech-bro-ai gloom and doom?
