Less than 24 hours after agreeing to a joint campaign rally, Haley Stevens is making it clear: she won’t show up for the photo-op unless he apologizes for his inflammatory rhetoric blaming Israel for Michigan’s affordability crisis and expressly disavows the antisemitic Rebellion PAC ad from Cenk Uygur (Hasan Piker’s uncle).
She also wants his campaign ad featuring Tucker Carlson pulled.
A “not affiliated” statement isn’t a condemnation. The ad’s “set that $7 aside for killing Palestinians” line is textbook scapegoating, and El-Sayed’s own words have echoed it for months.
Will he actually do it — or will his arrogance mean he refuses and the unity theater collapses?

Israel is showing Hamas how terrorism is really done. Hamas are amateurs! Even though Israel gave Hamas millions of dollars.
I don't care whether they were bribed or voted this way of their own free will. There is one simple fact: 85% of Arab voters in Israel voted for parties that refuse to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization and reject Zionism.
They weren't thinking about how to improve their lives, their infrastructure, their education, or their livelihoods. Even after Hamas massacred members of their own communities on October 7, they chose to give power to supporters of terrorism who have described Hamas as a charity organization and dedicated their victory to Gazans.
