The Lord will keep you from all harm
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121:7-8
Public Service Announcement…€5 Negroni is not a great deal, if you drink more than five. Just saying…
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100:4-5
Cast your cares on the lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
Psalm 55:22
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Titus 2:11-14
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43:2
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Matthew 7:7-8
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Psalm91:11-12
Prepping for the upcoming journey with this gem. A raspberry and flowers on opening. Haven’t tasted yet, but my expectations are high.
The Lord will keep you from all harm,
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalms 121:7-8
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
Wine for the evening, paired to a good grilled strip. A nerello cappuccio. I must say , that while serviceable, it was nothing as fondly remembered while tasting on the side of Mt Etna. Experience at the source certainly adds to a wine.
I borrowed this from a friend posting on Facebook, but it seems appropriate.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
After driving eight hours today, I’m sitting at “Tap’d” and Cocktails in Dyersburg, TN nursing a double Tito’s rocks. It is only place open here to get food and a drink. Pray for me.
Lexington tomorrow.
