Anyone who has camped in serious rain knows how miserable it can be, especially when your attempts to keep the rain out fail. All you want is to feel dry again. When it’s cold it’s exponentially worse. When you’re with your kids, you feel awful for them as they shiver. Now imagine the tent is your forced home, the water keeps rising, and there’s nowhere to go to get dry or warm.
I admit that I completely broke down today. I cried uncontrollably. I couldn’t hold myself together after witnessing what I saw with my own eyes.
Today, we went to film a journalistic report inside the displacement tents along the seashore. I swear, what we witnessed was beyond what any human being should have to endure.
I saw men crying bitterly. Men I had never seen cry when they lost their children or when their homes were destroyed. Today, I saw them crying because they were powerless to do the simplest thing: protect their children from the water and the cold.
We spoke to families who told us they had spent the entire night carrying their children in their arms after floodwater covered the floors of their tents and soaked their mattresses. They couldn’t find a single dry place to put their children. They couldn’t even give them a few hours of sleep.
I saw children no older than five, without proper clothes to protect them from the cold, without heating, and without a dry place to sleep. Children shivering inside tents that cannot keep out the rain, protect them from the wind, or provide even the most basic sense of safety.
What more must happen for this world to act? How much more suffering must people endure before someone remembers that they are human beings?
I am sick of this world. I am sick of its hypocrisy and empty slogans. To hell with a world that talks endlessly about human rights while leaving children to drown inside their tents. To hell with everyone who has witnessed this suffering and chosen silence, and to hell with the governments and institutions that have the power to act but continue to turn their backs on us.

This is destroying Iran not the Iranian government.

From #Gaza, the cries of parents rise to heaven ever more intensely as they clutch the lifeless bodies of their children, searching for food and shelter from bombs. I renew my appeal to leaders: cease fire, release all hostages, and fully respect international humanitarian law!

This is for anyone who cares about the climate and is thinking about voting for Jill Stein or RFK Jr. or sitting this election out.
I get your frustration, but I'm asking you: please don't.

Last time the French stopped the people with the better clothes from being in power, they chopped their fucking heads off. Consider this an improvement.

The stuff in Project 2025 on climate and fossil fuels is even worse than you would imagine. As Michael Mann said, this would be “game over for climate progress.” If you care about a livable future, it’s worth understanding what’s in this radical right blueprint. Buckle up.

I say this with an awareness of every single Israeli leader -- hawk or dove, Labour or Likud, back to Ben-Gurion. This man is the most vicious, cynical, soulless and disastrous head of state since Herod.

Honestly @macklemore’s “Hind’s Hall” is the most Rage Against The Machine song since Rage Against The Machine.

The seven angels killed on a @WCKitchen mission in Gaza on Monday were the best of humanity.
The Israeli government needs to open more land routes for food and medicine today. It needs to stop killing civilians and aid workers today. It needs to start the long journey to peace today.
You cannot save the hostages by bombing every building in Gaza. You cannot win this war by starving an entire population. nytimes.com/2024/04/03/opini…

Three qualities you definitely want in a president:
1) Desperate for cash
2) Desperate to avoid jail time
3) Flagrantly corrupt
I built a Magnificent Business, which helped rebuild New York City and State, with Amazing, Unparalleled, Historic Properties and tons of CASH, which Crooked Joe Biden and his Maniac Persecutors are trying to wrongfully and illegally take from me. A bond of the size set by the Democrat Club-controlled Judge, in Corrupt, Racist Letitia James’ unlawful Witch Hunt, is unConstitutional, un-American, unprecedented, and practically impossible for ANY Company, including one as successful as mine. The Bonding Companies have never heard of such a bond, of this size, before, nor do they have the ability to post such a bond, even if they wanted to...
