> Inflation is taxation with superior public relations. Taxation is theft. Inflation is robbery, assault and battery. War is the tool that keeps you compliant.
War is the health of the state, and every treasury minister in history has known it. Governments that could never justify a peacetime income tax extracted one the moment artillery started firing. Britain imposed its first income tax in 1799, not through principled fiscal debate, but because William Pitt needed to fight Napoleon. The tax was supposed to expire at Waterloo. It came back in 1842 and never left. The people paid for one war and funded a permanent bureaucracy. The pattern repeats with mechanical consistency. Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, and within two years the new institution was monetizing war debt on an industrial scale. The inflation tax is the craftiest version of this theft because you never receive a bill. The purchasing power simply drains from your savings while politicians point at commodity markets and shrug. Weimar Germany printed to fund World War One reparations. The Continental Congress printed Continentals to fund the Revolution until "not worth a Continental" became a folk saying about government paper. Rome clipped coins for centuries of military expansion, debasing the denarius from nearly pure silver to a bronze coin with a silver wash. Every episode follows the same logic. Direct taxes provoke visible resistance. Printing money diffuses the pain across every currency holder, spreading the theft thin enough that most victims never identify the thief. Inflation is taxation with superior public relations. War simply gives the state permission to accelerate what it does in peacetime, only faster and without public consent. When you hear the words "emergency powers," you know you are about to be robbed.

"Instead of gamma radiation annihilating the universe, we're getting seventeen metric gigatons of YEARNING."
I love the whole "Malfoid" thing, I really do. And i'm not even the target audience. I've enjoyed writing it, and its totally unleashed my muse. I've been thinking about why the whole Malfoid fanfiction phenomenon is doing so ridiculously well, and I think I've figured something out. Men are absolutely STARVING for good romance. Plenty of women, too, I guess. Not pornography. Not harems. Not some elaborate sexual power fantasy. Romance. Two people who who are confused by their feelings, who make mistakes, who struggle to understand one another, and who slowly, awkwardly, sometimes painfully fall in love. You know. That thing human beings have been doing to each other for thousands of years. In story form. Somewhere along the way, the publishing industry decided that men don't like romance. (xitter.cf/ShamashAran/status/210…) The alternatives everyone's been offered for the past couple of decades have been, to put it delicately, a radioactive dumpster fire. On one side, you've got male-oriented harem fantasies where every woman within a fifty-mile radius is aching for a sexual encounter, in graphicly written detail. On the other, you've got the darker corners of romantasy, where the height of romantic fulfillment involves being kidnapped, abused (physically, mentally, or both) or literally raped by a seven-foot-tall monster with the emotional maturity of a malfunctioning garbage disposal. I'm sitting here thinking: CAN TWO PEOPLE JUST FALL IN LOVE WITHOUT SOMEBODY GETTING RAPED OR DEVELOPING A HAREM? Apparently that's too much to ask. This brings me back to Malfoid. Here's a huge set of stories written by many different folks, about two fundamentally decent people, raised in very different worlds, struggling with their feelings, their prejudices, their loyalties, and their expectations. Neither is perfect. Neither always knows what they're doing. Sometimes they're absolute idiots. They have something, and we get to watch it develop in story form. The romance isn't about sexual conquest or domination. It's about vulnerability, trust, affection, and the terrifying realization that another human being has become extraordinarily important to you. And people are eating it up. Which brings me to my theory. Malfoid has caused a false vacuum decay in the quantum field of romantic literature. For decades, we've been trapped in a metastable state where the publishing industry insists that men don't want romance, and male readers have been conditioned to believe there isn't any romance worth reading. Now, comes along comes a wholesome little love story about two emotionally constipated school-age British wizards, and suddenly the entire field collapses into a new, lower-energy vacuum state. The resulting energy release is absolutely catastrophic. Instead of gamma radiation annihilating the universe, we're getting seventeen metric gigatons of YEARNING. Turns out men didn't hate romance. They just wanted something worth falling in love with.

I didn't sign shit. Taxation is theft and slavery.
Lysander Spooner committed the unforgivable act of taking the state's own logic and following it to its conclusion: anarchism. Born in 1808 in Athol, Massachusetts, Spooner spent his adult life attacking government monopoly with the fury of a man who had personally been robbed. In 1844 he launched the American Letter Mail Company to break the Post Office's stranglehold on mail delivery. His rates undercut the federal monopoly immediately. Within two years Congress passed legislation explicitly banning private competition, because the Post Office could not compete on price and quality and survive. That episode tells you everything. When the state wins, it wins by outlawing the competition. Spooner's 1870 work "No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority" demolished the consent doctrine underpinning every modern government. A contract signed by men long dead binds you to nothing. You never signed the Constitution. Your grandfather never signed it. The men who ratified it in 1788 had no authority to mortgage your liberty to a federal government in perpetuity. Spooner made this argument with the rigor of a lawyer, which he was, having studied law under John Davis and Charles Allen in Worcester. His natural law theory drew property rights from human labor directly, bypassing the state entirely. Production precedes the state. Rights precede legislation. Governments confiscate rights. Free market thinkers inherited Spooner's anti-monopoly logic and applied it to every sector the state subsequently captured.

Want to have your mind blown? In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold. In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold. Your paycheck went up 10x. Measured in gold, it fell 88%. To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today. That’s what fiat debasement looks like.

We should also stop writing code in obsolete, insecure languages: time to ditch C, C++ and PHP. No, your clanker doesn't write "great" C code. Plenty of better alternatives nowadays: Go, Roc, Zig, Odin, Goose, and even Rust, if you really must.

Fuck all of these fake-ass larping trans-trender faggots. I'm transsexual. I suffer from sex dysmorphia. If you don’t, you're NOT trans. I hate having sex dysmorphia. I always play a female character because of it. In a world where you can be anything, if you CHOOSE to be trans then you don't know a single fucking thing about how awful it is. There's a reason why the suicide rate is so high, and it's NOT bullying. There is no such fucking thing as non-binary or genders. There is male and female, and that's it. MY MENTAL DISORDER IS NOT YOUR FUCKING COSTUME.
BioWare is closing because bigots and transphobes couldn't take a fictional character being LGBTQIA2SL. It's all made up anyway, why do you care? It's just a game!!!! Let us be represented! Leave us the hell alone!

100%. It's not just Bill Watterson's lush art and funny writing that made "Calvin & Hobbes" so special to me as a kid. It's that Calvin was LITERALLY ME and every other precocious, mischievous little boy. If you have any boys, buy EVERY anthology of this strip you can and share it with them. They will love it. As an added bonus— Watterson does a wonderful job making Calvin's parents respectable, stable figures in his life. Calvin is, of course, always in trouble. But it's clearly a safe, loving home. Just one of the all-time great comic strips.
No one in the history of media knew the interior workings of a young boy’s brain better than Bill Watterson

Every time I write about my interactions with Muslims, some people say I make these conversations up to sell my book. Well, this time, as usual, I decided to have a conversation with a random Muslim Uber driver in Manhatten, who is not an “Islamist,” just a normal Muslim, and show you what any honest Muslim who is not trying to deceive you or whitewash Islam believes. Watch until the end, because what he says in the last 20 seconds is the most important part. As I always tell you, Islam is a state that has a religion. That state has a constitution called Sharia, a foreign-policy doctrine called jihad, and frontiers that are always expanding. All Muslims must believe that Islam will eventually rule the world because that is what Allah and Muhammad said, and all Muslims must support this endeavor whether by hand, tongue, or heart. There is no such thing as Islamism. It is a Western construct used to whitewash Islam. The so-called moderate Muslims represent Islam just as much as a porn star wearing a cross necklace represents Christianity. Just know that if you vote for a Muslim for public office, then you are likely voting for someone who is on a mission to see Islam rule this country.

The yearning shall continue. ❤️
Malfoid: Until the End. And Beyond ✨ 1/2 I had a dream, wrote it down, and thought: why not? Developed it a bit more and… well, this is what came out. Not perfect, but hopefully you get the idea 🥲 #Malfoid #HarryPotter #Yearning

I didn't sign shit.
Murray Rothbard took Mises's price theory and drove it to a destination Mises never reached. Mises built the case that central planning fails because socialist planners cannot perform rational economic calculation without real market prices. Prices carry information that no committee can replicate. Rothbard accepted every word of this and asked the obvious follow-up: if state intervention distorts prices and destroys coordination, why stop your critique at the water's edge? Why exempt the state itself from the logic? The answer required property rights. Rothbard grounded everything in self-ownership. You own your body. By extension, you own what you mix your labor with, provided you homestead it from a prior unowned state. Every other right flows from this. Taxation is the seizure of your property under threat of imprisonment. From that foundation, Rothbard constructed anarcho-capitalism systematically, not as a utopian dream but as the logical terminus of taking rights seriously. Defense, arbitration, contract enforcement: private firms supply all of it in a competitive market. His 1973 book "For a New Liberty" laid this out with unflinching precision. His 1982 "The Ethics of Liberty" supplied the philosophical scaffolding. What Rothbard accomplished was a fusion, not a compromise. Mises gave him the economic engine. Locke and Lysander Spooner supplied the moral chassis. The result was a system where aggression has no legitimate institutional home, including Congress, including the Federal Reserve, including every bureaucrat drawing a salary your paycheck funded involuntarily.

The yearning needs guidelines.
Okay. So let's lay out the rules then. 1. Malfoid was born female, has always been female, and at no point was ever male or has memories of being male. Since being born, she has grown up as a girl, and Heiress of House Malfoy. 2. The tags name is Malfoid. not galfoy, not Drarry (Gayyyy), not Malfoy. Malfoid. We are not changing it. If it offends you, that is the POINT. 3. Malfoid is about a resurrection of the Mytho-Poetic romantic love story. The kind of story where a noble man and noble woman come together to complete one another. There's some mutual saving involved, and it is principally a chaste and wholesome relationship. 4. Sexifying, pornifying, slutifying characters within the Malfoid tag runs directly counter to the intentions of rule #3, and if you think that the Malfoid movement is the place for your slut like whorecrux behavior, you are wrong and need to go be a slutblood somewhere else. 5. Malfoid is not a "GENDER BEND", because there was no male Draco at any point. Malfoid is the wholesale replacement of Draco as a character with a female who is occupying the same space, with a similar (But not identical) attitude as Draco. Malfoid is a "Gendered replacement". There's no transforming men into women, Malfoid is not Transgender as they were born Female and always have been. 6. The Malfoid tag is not about swapping all the characters genders, making a Harem anime, or producing a show of Harry having lots and lots of women to choose from because suddenly his best friend or dark arts teacher are suddenly female. This runs counterproductive to rule #3, as it dilutes the chasteness and wholesomeness of the Mytho-Poetic Romance that is predicated upon the singular love between two singular people. 7. Malfoid is considered a "Cultural Moment" within a sub-culture that is very large. If you are only here to shit on everyone's parade by saying how irrelevant or insignificant fan culture is, or how fanfiction is a waste of time, or any such nonsense... you can save your breath, we've all heard it before. Go and spend your efforts at demoralization and deconstruction elsewhere. 8. The Malfoid change to the story is integrated, adaptive only in how it enhances, fulfills and maintains the overall story of Harry Potter. Adaptations that improve narrative beats, enhance lore integrations or resolve standing plot points that weren't resolved or were resolved in a dis-satisfying way are preferred over vast departures from this sort of canon repurposing of the fiction. While the purpose is NOT to deviate out of the genre or feel, sheer fun and humor is welcome, provided they attempt to adhere as best they can to rules 1-7. 9. Malfoid is traditional in its romantic sensibilities, and by this nature, is ostensibly a RIGHT LEANING movement. There are many conservative and religious values wrapped up in the narrative tropes and underpinnings of the story, in and of itself, as well as the romantic resolutions between Malfoid and Harry.

I don't know if you realize what just happened. Elon Musk is completely bypassing the State. For 100 years, we've been told the problem is capital. That it must be captured, taxed, redistributed. With an army of intermediaries standing between those who create wealth and the people: ministries, agencies, commissions, bureaucrats. Musk is doing the opposite. He's taking his capital and giving it directly to the people. One SpaceX share to every kid in America. Not a handout. Not a subsidy. A piece of the machine that's taking humanity to Mars. And he says it himself: this is the first of many. Mises understood this back in 1944: the bureaucrat creates nothing. He administers what others created, following rules that have no connection to the value produced. The day value flows directly from the one who creates it to the one who receives it, the bureaucrat has no function left. That's what's being born right now. A new liberal world order, where the very concept of the State will make less and less sense. The world we're entering is a world of abundance. AI, robots, energy, space. And that abundance won't come through the State, for one simple reason: we have a century of proof that it doesn't work. Redistribution was version 1.0. Direct distribution of capital is 2.0. While France is still debating how to tax builders even more, America is handing stock to its kids. Pick your side.
Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.

For a comprehensive list of plot points/story beats/vibes which Malfoidium fixes over canon; - gives Draco's narrative arc a much more satisfying conclusion and throughline - makes Draco more believable and likeable as a character (as many have pointed out, his bullying/behaviour is very female-coded to begin with) - provides a genuinely emotional, interesting and likeable romance subplot for Harry - elevates multiple mid to alright scenes (Yule Ball, Second Task, Sectumsempra, Dumbledore's death, Malfoy Manor) to high-tier emotional rollercoasters - establishes multiple pleasing character symmetries (Harry x Draco/Lily x James, Harry x Sirius/Draco x Snape) - enhances and rounds out the characterisation of Lucius, Narcissa, Snape and the Slytherins as a whole - provides a collective redemption and reconstruction of the Slytherins, as well as a symbolic reunion of Hogwarts through the match with a Gryffindor - provides a genuinely climactic final battle on lieu of a vut of clever trickery. While I understand the narrative purpose of the canon Elder Wand switcheroo (Voldemort's vain and materialist nature being the true source of his downfall as opposed to the humble and semantic Harry), it feels out of step with the nature of Voldemort's first defeat (inability to love or comprehend love) - consolidates and cements the power of love as the main thematic throughline of the story (stated but not quite pulled off by Rowling herself) Remarkable how all this spawned off a single image which gave people some food for thought.
Ya know what's insane? Harry adding Snapes names to one of his kids makes a fuck ton more sense if he's married to Malfoid. Cause I think we can agree, it's still insane Harry names his kid after the guy who bullied him for being James Potters son his entire school life. I get it. He died for you and has been "protecting" you your entire school life. But still, it's insane Harry would name his kid Severus, even as a middle name. Remember Snape in a different way than just pure hatred? Of course. Name a kid after him? No shot. "SPY" or not, Snape was still a man baby jackass. But with Malfoid now things are interesting. Cause she likes Snape. He protects her in the 6th year by killing Dumbledore for her. I think you could even retcon it and make Snape her Godfather. Adds a fun parallel between Harry and Sirius and her and Snape. So after Snape dies, especially to protect Harry, she'd honor that. Cause he was kind to her, her entire life. Probably even knew her before Hogwarts. Harry, loving his wife, would agree. A bit reluctantly, but he gets it. Just goes to show, Malfoid makes everything better. #Malfoid
