At least one person was killed, and six others injured in a mass shooting in Elizabeth, New Jersey Monday evening.
The shooting occured around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Irvington Avenue and Elmwood Place.
The wounded were transported to University Hospital in Newark. There is no word yet on what led up to the shooting or if any arrests were made.

Here's a dot map of the 2022 gubernatorial election in Kansas. Incumbent governor Laura Kelly won reelection by racking up votes in the corridor from Kansas City to Topeka while also winning Wichita and Manhattan, which was enough to overcome the GOP margins from rural counties.
