My mom took this selfie with her cat on this day in 2015. No one on Earth has taken a better selfie since. 😁😸
Gonna tell the young'uns this was @ConanOBrien.

.@JamesTalarico’s message to Gen Z: “You may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you.
Your boss cares about politics. Your landlord cares about politics. Your insurance company cares about politics.
And until you care about politics, they're gonna keep using the political system to screw you over.”

🤣🤣🤣 This man walked into a Trump rally, looked around, and basically told Fox News, “I missed Jonestown, so I figured I'd come watch the sequel.”
ON FUCKING LIVE TELEVISION. 😭💀

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

I was in the room multiple times when President Biden met with and prayed with Catholic bishops.
They didn’t run cameras, because he and those present didn’t want to politicize prayer and encounter for electoral gain.
When Biden lost his second child in May 2015, he prayed nearly all night in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
It’s the same thing he did in 1972 when he lost his daughter and late wife to a drunk driver.
He went to Mass every single Sunday as president, oftentimes next to the parish cemetery of his children, and relied on his faith to guide him through hell and high water.
You might not like his politics, but I encourage you to act with Christian charity towards the sincerity of his faith and take the view of the late Pope Francis, who called him a “good Catholic” in 2021.

Sen. @Ossoff: They promised to drain the swamp. Instead, it's the most corrupt administration of all time, and everybody knows it. While the crook president and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything. They doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich. They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile.

Imagine that. Harvard is reinventing a great books college. And the students do really want to put down the phones and pick the classics up.
“A lot of what we get out of this class is the human experience, and you can’t get that out of AI,” said Peggy Urdan, a government and neuroscience major from Lexington, Mass. “The only way to get anything out of this class is to not use AI.”

Gonna tell my kids* that person in the middle is "Weird Al" Yankovich.
*First, I'd have to have kids. However, at 67, that ship has sailed already. Maybe I can tell someone else's kids.

Q: Are you the one who’s going to turn Texas blue?
@JamesTalarico: I’m not interested in turning Texas blue. I wanna win this seat so that I can fight for all 31 million Texans — whether they’re Democrats, independents, or Republicans.
My party talks about turning Texas blue a lot. Republicans talk about keeping Texas red. I think the best color for Texas is purple.
When you have a purple state and competitive elections, it forces every politician in both parties to stay on their toes. My hope in this race is that we can end 30 years of one-party rule and get competitive elections back in Texas so politicians are actually solving problems.
