SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

We are past the point of political disagreement. We are witnessing a catastrophic collision between unchecked narcissism and obvious neurological decay. It is the most dangerous intersection in American history: a man with the absolute power of the Presidency and the absolute cognitive failure of a person no longer tethered to reality.
There are reports from 7 States who say their voting machines are switching votes for Democrats to Republicans. In one State a singular Democrat vote is switching to 3 Republican votes. This is how Trump, the President of The United States is trying to steal the election with Elon Musk..
Are we going to do anything when they steal this election? Doesn’t seem so. DT and family have been stealing our international respect and billions of dollars and we’ve done nothing. Is there a breaking point, or are we already defeated?
The closetocracy is coming apart at the seams.

It's very funny how debt is forgivable when it's tied to yachts, hedge funds, or failed businesses, but suddenly becomes a character flaw when it's tied to education, healthcare, or survival.
The premise of this is way off. Nobody "understands" the financial system today. We are the cows of the present.
"We are the cows of the future... Just as cows can't understand the financial system that controls their lives today, we will not be able to understand the AI financial system that will control our lives in 10 or 20 years."

I’m sure I’m not the first to do so, but I’m predicting that everything will gradually become harder to do without using AI. They’ll wear us down to accepting something we don’t want by making it increasingly difficult to exist without it.

This is how empires fall: the ruling class loots the treasury, privatizes the gains, socializes the losses, and obscures the wreckage while those responsible plan their escape. The public inherits the debt, the ruins, and the bill. The empire isn't broken. It's being plundered.

It’s shocking but not surprising that America is getting public executions before they get public healthcare.

A fascinating visualization of Vivaldi’s “Winter” that makes the music feel more intense. Almost like seeing the sound itself.

Possibly the only positive thing in American politics is watching rich idiots burn fortunes in their ego-fueled fires.
Elon Musk to the rescue? The world's richest man has quietly funneled more than $276 million into GOP groups and his super PAC since July, making him by far the largest known donor in the midterms as he tries to save the beleaguered party. @teddyschleifer nytimes.com/2026/10/12/us/po…

The documentary "Musk" by @alexgibneyfilm premieres today in NY & LA and then rolls out more broadly. I've seen it and I've got a feeling Elon won't like it. I had a great conversation with Alex about the film. You can watch here or listen on @NonzeroPods. youtube.com/watch?v=S334zDOB…
