NO NEWS MONDAY… just a heads up, the @KATUNews morning and afternoon shows have been preempted and will NOT air on Monday, Sep. 27th. The entire news team is attending a seminar to help deal with on-the-job stress and trauma… #stressmanagement #LiveOnK2

Sunday, Feb. 28, marks the one-year anniversary of Oregon’s first case of COVID-19. As we look back at a year filled with tremendous sacrifice and loss, we want to take a moment to celebrate our public health workers. To these unsung heroes, we say thank you #ThankYouORPubHealth

Our family matriarch is 99 years young and got her first covid vaccine today at the @OHSUNews drive through clinic❤️ During the car ride, she shared what it was like to live through serious outbreaks of measles, polio, etc. This lady might love vaccines more than me!

If we do nothing, many people will get sick at once - overwhelming hospitals, health care workers and supplies. But if we stay home, we can slow the spread, so people have care when they need it. #StayHomeSaveLives

If you’re wondering whether it’s an overreaction to cancel large gatherings and public events (and I love basketball), here’s a useful primer as to why these measures can slow the spread of the virus and save lives. We have to look out for each other. vox.com/2020/3/10/21171481/c…
