Resilient SATCOM can’t rely on a single network, orbit, or provider.
As our CTO John-Paul Szczepanik told SatNow: “No single constellation will be available, uncontested, and sufficient everywhere.”

Replying to @viasat
@viasat Government has ordered multiple Hydra MAX terminals.
Now approved to operate on their global NextGen Ka-band network, Hydra MAX holds multiple independent satellite links at once, from one terminal.

Hydra MAX 2: no moving parts, no mechanical gimbal.
Digital beamforming lets each link track, reject interference and perform independently, so mobile platforms stay connected through rough terrain, heavy seas and vibration.

Backup PNT that works when L-band is completely denied.
At Arcane Thunder, NAVSYS and ALL.SPACE demonstrated hybrid Hydra/PNTaaS using Ku/Ka-band SATCOM under live GPS jamming.

Hydra MAX 2 keeps two independent links live in parallel, each with its own RF path & beamforming chain.
That means a GEO, MEO or LEO link remains open at the same time.
When one path is blocked, congested or contested, the second link is already live.

At Arcane Thunder, ALL.SPACE's Hydra kept comms live on the move while NAVSYS gathered data for its alt PNT solution-one field-ready system, not two.

Chosen for U.S. Government missions: Hydra MAX is joining @AalyriaTech's Spacetime network.
Up to 1 GHz of aggregate bandwidth across commercial and military Ka, delivered from a single terminal built for communications on the move.

"Any Operator, Any Orbit" is easy to say.
The hard part is the antenna architecture behind it.
Hydra MAX 2 keeps two independent satellite links active at once, from a single aperture, so when one path is blocked, the other is already live.
