Today a new third-party #Mastodon app, Ice Cubes, launched on iOS. At least two more, Ivory from @tapbots and Mona from @theSpringApp, are being developed. Third-party apps are where the innovation happens!

En el terreno de las redes sociales, el premio se lo lleva @theSpringApp. Es el mejor cliente de Twitter que he probado. Le da mil vueltas a otros porque puedes crear tu propia app. Todo, absolutamente todo, es personalizable.

The best Twitter client for Apple platforms keeps getting even better. Two things: 1. Open links in the background. Safari View Controller will only pop up when the page has finished loading. Genius. 2. Divide view. Like an in-app Split View for any timeline you want. 🤯

Who knows if third-party Twitter clients are going away in the near future or not. But in the meantime, I wrote about the one I've been using for months, which is incredibly powerful and customizable: the amazing @theSpringApp. club.macstories.net/posts/sp…

A demo of the Spring app by Yours Truly. I do like this app. Using it is far less frustrating than when using the official Twitter app. It’s not perfect, but it’s very good.
