This is so important. At this point I actually need very ambitious friends.
Highly recommend being friends with ambitious people. Their drive pushes you to also work hard for yourself. They inspire you to do better, be better. Their good traits rub off on you. You start to want better for yourself and you grow.

If you're a Nigerian developer, whether you're just starting out or you've been building for years, there's so much you can build and learn with homegrown technologies 🇳🇬❤️ We have: 🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @pxxl_space instead of Vercel for hosting. 🇳🇬 @StackshiftCloud for VPS hosting and management, as an alternative to providers like Hostinger and tools like Coolify. 🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @sendly_ai_ instead of Resend for business and transactional emails. 🇳🇬 @cencori instead of OpenRouter and Cloudflare AI Gateway for AI model access and management. 🇳🇬 Sabilytics.com instead of Google Analytics and DataFast for website analytics. 🇳🇬 @OutRayTunnel for tunnelling local services, as an alternative to tools like ngrok and Cloudflare Tunnel. 🇳🇬 @Bachs_hq for international payments, as an alternative to Stripe. And these are just the ones I can remember right now! I'm not saying you must stop using international tools. I'm saying we have people right here building alternatives worth trying, supporting, and contributing to. With better local pricing that fits us. I know I'm missing so many other products. What other Nigerian-built products and their global alternatives should be on this list? Drop them in the replies! 👇 And if you're building something in Nigeria or anywhere across Africa, please submit your project to Africa Is Building so more people can discover what you're working on ❤️ africaisbuilding.com/submit

stop asking Claude one question and thinking you understand the topic. you don't. Stanford proved a better way. it's called STORM. peer reviewed. 25% more organized output. open source. the trick: don't ask one question. ask five. from five different experts. >the practitioner: what do they know that academics miss? >the skeptic: what's the strongest counterargument? >the economist: who profits from the current narrative? >the historian: what pattern has played out before? >the academic: what does the evidence actually say? 4 prompts. 5 minutes. no software. no GitHub. just paste into Claude. single prompts give you what everyone already knows. STORM gives you what nobody else found. this article has all 4 prompts ready to copy. pick your hardest topic. paste prompt 1. you'll know more in 5 minutes than people who spent days reading.

DO THIS (VERY IMPORTANT!) Audit your last five emails. Count how many times you wrote "not," "cannot," "don't" or "haven't." Then rewrite each one in the positive. You'll sound like a completely different person, without changing a single fact. And this will shift the vibe in your favor.

WHY I CAME BACK HOME After almost 30 years in the United States working as an Interventional Cardiologist, people still ask me why I returned to Nigeria. Every day at Tristate Hospital, Lekki, I am reminded that my return to Nigeria was not just a career decision. 1/8

🚨 someone just dropped a full 10-stage academic research pipeline for Claude Code. It doesn’t write your paper for you, it hunts references, formats citations, verifies data, and even runs a "devil's advocate" agent to attack your own thesis. Here's why it's a massive deal for academics: → Anti-AI Voice: Learns your specific writing style. →Integrity Gates: Actively hunts down fabricated citations and statistical errors. →Simulated Peer Review: Runs your draft through a 7-agent panel (including a Devil’s Advocate). →Cheap: A full 15k-word paper costs ~$4–$6 in API credits. Best part? It's 100% free and open-source. Install in 30s: `/plugin install academic-research-skills` repo in 🧵↓
