I run my AWS infra as AI agents. DevOps, security, compliance, data engineering, the whole tech team as pods. Work that took 40 hours takes 4. I am writing down everything I learn. Follow along, or DM me BUILD if you want this running your systems.
Anthropic launched Claude Duet on October 21 with more than 6,000 connectors and approval required before any payment, message, signature, or deletion. The agent keeps working while your laptop is off. Who owns the audit log when it acts at 2 AM?
About 50 gigawatts of new capacity could arrive in 2027 and another 60 gigawatts is already under construction, SemiAnalysis expects. The next limit may move from power toward chips and memory.
Is 50 GW in a single year too aggressive?
"Dear Brad called us out publicly and cut our forecast in half."
So Jeremie (@JeremieEO) and Reyk (@robotknower) came on with Jordan (@JordanNanos) to show their work. They go site by site from satellite and explain why haircutting the number double counts the delays already baked in. Plus moratoriums, 9-month modular builds, and why 2028 is the year to watch.

Up to $164.5 billion in guarantees and commitments now sit behind AI data centers on the filing based reporting, with up to $105 billion tied to lease payments for one OpenAI campus in Ohio. How much of that exposure ever gets called if capacity keeps filling at the current pace?

The midpoint moved from $15 billion to $19 billion in one update. Gross margin guidance moved up about 2 points at the same time, to 12.0 percent to 12.5 percent. Revenue and margin rising together is the part that matters. Full results land November 3.
Microsoft now scores each agent for risk and can drop it to read only, require human approval, or shut it down. Detection expanded from 25 to 60 agent types including Claude Code and Codex. Every agent starts at zero permissions.
The detail that matters most from this week. CoreWeave sold bonds in June at par with a 9.625% coupon. Those same bonds now trade at 78 cents on the dollar, yields above 16%, and credit protection on the company just hit a record. The credit market is repricing the AI buildout in real time.
Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.99 percent Monday and $NVDA rose 1.1 percent premarket. The 10 year yield fell to 5.085 percent.
Anthropic is consulting law firms on how agents should negotiate for users, the FT reported October 18. Open questions include how often an agent checks back with its user and how wary it should be of rival agents. Anthropic declined to comment to the FT.
Microsoft gave Copilot Studio agents their own Entra ID and mailbox on October 15. They cannot read documents labeled Confidential and email is capped at 250 people inside the tenant. Every tool still needs its own permission.
AI debt spreads widened 25 basis points in 2 days to 360 basis points while non AI debt widened 2 basis points. SOXX is down about 11 percent in October.
$NVDA CEO Jensen Huang says “all of this is going to pass” because AI is still at beginning of transforming nearly every industry.
I think that’s what people are overlooking because higher rates are making AI infrastructure more expensive to finance without changing the actual demand for compute.
