Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer.
And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety.
Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight.
So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖

This is so heartbreaking. We can’t keep blaming the government for everything when our own citizens show zero civic sense. How hard is it to stop treating public spaces like garbage dumps?

Recursive Self-Improvement
A retired NASA engineer who had worked on the Space Shuttle program for 25 years was hired by SpaceX at age 62. He described the first week as the most disorienting experience of his professional life.
At NASA, a design change required 3 meetings, 2 committees, a review board, and 6 to 18 months of documentation. At SpaceX, his new supervisor said "if it works, build it. If it doesn't, change it by Friday."
He sat at his desk after the first day and called his wife. He told her he felt like a man who had been swimming with ankle weights for 25 years and someone just cut them off. He could move. He could decide. He could build something in the morning and test it in the afternoon. The constraint that he had accepted as the nature of aerospace engineering turned out to be the nature of bureaucracy.
Within 6 months he had contributed to more design iterations than he had completed in his last 5 years at NASA. Not because he was working harder. Because the time between having an idea and testing the idea collapsed from months to hours. The same brain. The same knowledge. A different operating system.
He described a specific moment where he proposed a modification to a Raptor engine component. At NASA, the proposal would have entered a queue. At SpaceX, the modification was machined by the end of the day and tested by the following morning. He watched his idea become a physical object in 18 hours. At NASA, 18 hours would not have been enough to schedule the first meeting to discuss whether to schedule a meeting.
He told an interviewer: "I didn't get smarter when I went to SpaceX. I got faster. The intelligence was always there. The system was in the way."
The difference between SpaceX and NASA is not talent. NASA has extraordinary talent. The difference is the time between a thought and a test. SpaceX compresses it. NASA elongates it. The same engineer produces 10x more at SpaceX than at NASA because the bottleneck was never the engineer. It was the meetings about the meetings about the work.

Great running into @CoughranBill today, serendipitously after almost 4 yrs.
Bill’s advice to own the entire workflow loop, not just the AI, became a core premise behind @atomicworkhq.💜

This blog, which went viral today, retweeted by Elon Musk and Sam Altman, uses Fathom for their analytics. I had no idea until I saw our script on his blog. The best part is that our infrastructure didn’t even notice the traffic. I’m extremely proud of what we’ve built.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

So when is the IIT JEE date, asked my physics teacher. With utmost horror, I realized it was 1 month away. I also remembered I had not touched inorganic chemistry in almost a year, and that there was no way I was going to revise that. I dont think I am clearing it this year, I ammounced to him. Yeserday I had this nightmare again, a recurring one I have, in many forms with many entrance exams :)
But for the first time in my life, within the dream, I realized I am no longer in 12th. I remembered I am 40+ years old. I realized I finished my engineering and postgrad and remembered Sensibull and everything else. For the first time, I continued sleeping without waking up.
Every nightmare ends, althought it took 23 years in my case ;)
Keep the faith, boys and girls!

3 months ago, I sold my 1st company, Skio, for $105M cash.
Now my 2nd company, Icon, just raised $30M to launch something the world has never seen.
For $1000, we make 6 human creator ads (no AI, 100% real).
We find creators, ship products, write scripts, & edit videos.
It's risk-free:
- Full refund if you don't love your ads.
- You don't pay until you review 6 scripts.
- Unlimited human revisions.
Today, Icon introduces the world's first Agency.
We're not building a normal agency:
- We bought a $12M domain.
- We're backed by Founders Fund and OpenAI + Google DeepMind leaders.
It’s impossible to hire a creative team like ours for even $30K/mo:
- Creative Directors who've worked with $100M brands (IM8, Obvi, Ridge). They update our format library daily based on winning ads (street interviews, skits, & 20+ more).
- 12+ scriptwriters with $80M in Meta adspend.
- 200+ in-house editors who've edited 100K ads.
One more thing...
We're giving away our internal Google Drive with 1000 winning ads that have driven $100M+ in revenue.
You can make $100K copying these ads if you know what you're doing.
Want the Google Drive?
1. Retweet this post.
2. Comment "icon".
3. DM me this post’s link & I'll DM you back with the Google Drive.
[Bonus] Get 3 free human creator ads if you do the above and we end up working together.

4 billion payments. 3 trillion data points. One model trained on all of it.
Meet @Razorpay Vulcan - India’s first transformer-based AI foundation model for payments.
Built, trained and hosted in India, in partnership with @nvidia and @awscloud.
Until now, every payments problem was solved separately: routing, fraud, risk, personalisation and more.
We asked: What if one model could understand how money moves?
And like LLMs are trained on text to understand language, Vulcan is trained on payments to understand how money moves.
Already running in beta across 51,000+ businesses, Vulcan is delivering:
- 8–10% improvement in payment success rates - the ultimate measure of whether a payment simply works.
- 8x more international card fraud detected.
- 5x more fraudulent or disputed transactions identified.
- 1–2 lakh more purchases completed every month through better checkout personalisation.
And we’re just getting started. The best part? Every payment Vulcan sees makes the next one smarter.
We’ve spent years building the infrastructure that moves money for India. Now, we’re building the intelligence that understands and improves it. 🔥

Hi @satyanadella, something big is happening in India.
Young founders are building PAVs (permanently aerial vehicles), $0.01 drone deliveries, SOTA air purification systems, and aircraft of the future to take on Boeing/Airbus.
I've been in India since 2017 and this is unlike anything I've witnessed in the startup ecosystem till date. India is in the midst of a genuine tech renaissance. There are startups training dogs to detect cancer, startups designing precision immunotherapies, startups turning DNA into data storage devices.
Microsoft has done a spectacular job of supporting entrepreneurship in India through Microsoft for Startups (prev Founders Hub), and partnerships with SaaSBoomi/IndiaAI Mission/ISRO/MeitY/etc.
What's next? Would love to explore a way for Microsoft to support this fresh wave of innovation. These 22nd Century Indians.

this is insane. i genuinely don't understand why ambitious people aren't shown this lecture before their careers start consuming their entire lives.
clayton christensen spent his career studying why successful companies collapse. in his final class, he asked students to apply the theory to themselves: if you keep allocating your time the same way, what life are you actually building?
he had already seen the answer in his own harvard mba class. everyone looked successful at the fifth reunion; by the 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th, many were unhappy, divorced, and living far from their children.
work shows you the score immediately. close a sale, ship a product, finish a presentation, earn a promotion, get paid.
an hour with your child may produce nothing you can measure today; it may take 20 years to understand what that hour built. so the next free hour goes back to work, one rational decision at a time.
this is how people build lives they never planned: through hundreds of right decisions that lead in the wrong direction, day after day.
money, titles, and headcount are easy to count. christensen believed a life should be measured by the people who became better because you were there.
he died in 2020.
one question remains: if someone saw only where your time, energy, and attention went this year, what would they think actually mattered to you?
the full 19-minute lecture is in the video below.

For most of our lives, we are measured by ordinary questions.
How much do you earn? How much have you saved? What car do you drive? What is your company's valuation? Where did you spend your vacation? Which restaurants you eat in?
But every once in a while, you come across people who have quietly stopped playing that game.
They choose to wager their youth, their careers, their savings, and often their peace of mind on an idea that appears absurd to everyone else. They are drawn not by certainty, but by possibility. Their ambitions are so disproportionate to the odds that failure is almost the expected outcome.
Engineers who attempt moonshots belong to this rare tribe.
Today's Skyroot launch is one of those moments.
We’ll be watching this ignition on loop all day.
