1/Over the past three months, I’ve undertaken a very deep dive into energy-storage. I’ve read tons of literature, spoken to professionals and policy makers, eventually giving me a view of the current landscape. I’ve got pieces coming soon in @routefifty and @pvmagazine
Today’s cradle-to-grave system's destructive qualities are fundamentally a design problem, not an inevitable outcome of human activity. Good design can transform the making of things — products, buildings + community plans — into a positive, regenerative force #CradletoCradle

Now you can include reducing Plug-in Car Grant on this list #absurd
Yep, and building a third runway at Heathrow, starting fracking, freezing fuel duty, banning on-shore wind, removing all solar subsidies, cancelling zero carbon homes, and many other actions of UK Government, are entirely incompatible with this.

High resolution satellite imagery and #SpectralAnalysis are key components in #PrecisionAgriculture with aims to reduce waste, plan more efficiently and better respond to localized changes. This is a great piece on just one of the many ways to streamline the industry.

False balance can lead to the public being misled over the realities of climate change - which makes it encouraging to see organisations such as the @BBC proactively addressing the problem (even if it is long overdue). @CarbonBrief @guardianeco
