This type of fearmongering about Israel is wrong. It is not a winning strategy for any state. It does nothing to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ballot in eight days. Do we need to lower costs by building more homes, securing people’s health care, and creating a fairer federal tax code? Yes, we do!! How we do so is not by blaming the high costs of our goods on the only Jewish homeland in the world. I want to see Democrats succeed at every level, and that means keeping our focus on lowering costs for Michigan families and reining in this out-of-control President.

It's not ignorance. It's a deliberate attempt to keep painting any alternative unacceptable to them as bad or not good enough. They want Rahul Gandhi to be so perfect that by the time he gets there, there'll be nothing left to fight for, and then they'll blame him and INC again for creating the unwinnable situation. There's no sense of "let's wait until we get our guy in power, then we can criticize him" - which is what many of us are waiting to do. Instead they want to destroy any chance of victory with their virtue signaling and moral grandstanding.
the liberal side enjoys self-flagellation and virtue signaling more than winning and changing the desperate situation India is in. Because if things change, what will they complain about? how will they show themselves as better than others? Not that they will ever stop.
It's true of that group of useful idiots known as "civil society", journalists, intellectuals, etc.
Sadly, they seem to believe every word of what they say.
