🧊 Inner Igloo recap Oct 30. Luca Netz key points: ‼️ Every Big Pudgy gets a free Vibes TCG Set 4 booster box. Per NFT, not per wallet. Luca: “We have always done a poor job” of getting the products to holders. Every penguin ever licensed via Overpass (738 Bigs + Lils) gets one too. Claim on huddle.pudgypenguins.com until Nov 6. Boxes ship when Set 4 launches, before year end. Set 4 is their biggest set, biggest distribution and biggest mass-market push yet. Bigs go first, then Lils, Pengu holders and soulbound holders. Claim data decides future drops. “Expect a lot more of this from us.” There’s no claim checker. Buy, claim, flip? “We won’t” stop it. The Huddle: “unfragmenting the fragmentation.” Tokens, NFTs and product buyers are now in one place, and the Web2→Web3 funnel is finally measurable. It’s open to everyone, no penguin needed. Internal KPI: a significant update every week. ~100 feedback items shipped in the last 2 weeks. Story page: 77 milestones now, ~100 within 15 days. It answers “what is Pudgy actually doing?”, the take that irks him most. Features: Top 8, soulbounds from all your wallets, GIF tagging, Moments and a hold-time Passport. Profiles can stay private, and your address never touches the Huddle. 12-month vision: Pudgy World inside the Huddle, where you walk into your own igloo. On “what are you doing for holders”: a strong Web2 business means never fundraising from the community. Splitting revenue would come to ~$100 per holder every 6 months. Reinvesting builds toward Pengu-airdrop-level moments. Abstract was “bleeding so much money.” The “token over NFTs” narrative was wrong: after 10/10, the focus was on saving Abstract. The team learned of the shutdown only 10 days before announcing it. “That battle was lost… candidly, we failed.” The upside: for the first time in ~2 years there’s one mission, Pudgy Penguins, with “literally zero other distractions.” New playbook: “go so deep and not wide.” No overselling: “We’re just going to deliver.” The thesis is unchanged: can NFTs be better collectibles than physicals? “Every six months there’s a flash in the pan.” Had they chased them: “We would have been completely screwed.” “We know what to do now. We’re just gonna do it.” Next Inner Igloo: Fri, Nov 13, 11am ET.

There is nothing special about this pullback. Much of the panic surrounding neoclouds, AI capital expenditures, and the sustainability of the infrastructure buildout is simply the market searching for explanations for falling stock prices. When AI stocks were rising, record capex was evidence of extraordinary demand. When those same stocks started falling, suddenly the same spending became evidence of an impending financial disaster. One fact with two interpretations that depend entirely on the price action of the market. Go back to August 1998. The technology bull market had been running for about three years.Amid fallout from the Asian financial crisis and Russian ruble crisis, earnings expectations were deteriorating, valuations were elevated, and investors were becoming increasingly concerned about unprofitable Internet companies. On August 6, the New York Times published an article titled "Market Gyrations May Point to Shift in Investor Strategy." One fund manager declared, "Boring is going to outperform sexy." Investors were supposedly abandoning momentum and speculative technology shares in favor of profitable businesses, balance sheets, dividends, and traditional valuations. Russia defaulted on its debt. The Asian financial crisis was spreading internationally. The yen carry trade had imploded as the USD plunged 8% against the yen in a single day. US embassies were being bombed. President Clinton ordered missile strikes against Afghanistan and Sudan while simultaneously facing a scandal that would result in his impeachment. Major financial institutions suffered enormous losses, and the spectacular collapse of Long-Term Capital Management threatened the stability of the global financial system. Corporate earnings forecasts were falling. Investors feared a U.S. recession. Many of the same technology companies that had driven the bull market were now leading the decline. Many of them had fallen 40-60% from their 1998 highs. Even the Federal Reserve's first interest-rate cut on September 29 initially disappointed investors. The Dow fell that day and plunged another 238 points the following session. The news seemed almost uniformly terrible. But the market didn't care forever. After a violent reversal in early October, improving confidence in corporate earnings, Japanese banking reforms, and a surprise emergency Fed cut on October 15 helped restore risk appetite. By November, the Dow was making new all-time highs. Internet stocks were exploding higher again. What had looked like the end of the internet trade was, within about a month, actually a correction preceding one of the most extraordinary speculative advances in stock-market history. In today’s market, Microsoft just reported 48% Azure growth. Google Cloud revenue more than doubled. Meta expects $135–145 billion in capex this year and has announced plans for a potentially record-sized $97.5 billion equity capital raise. If the market really was that concerned over capex spending, instead of using it as an excuse to explain the pullback, the market would have sold off on the META news. Anthropic has now filed its IPO registration statement. We have midterm elections approaching, another consequential round of earnings, and a Fed that just held rates steady even as another hike is widely anticipated in December. There are plenty of potential catalysts over the coming two months. More importantly, this does not resemble the sentiment backdrop of a speculative bubble climax. Generational bull markets don't die midway through a basing period, but typically after euphoric saturation and a parabolic rally in leading names. Consensus on AI is deeply divided. Being loudly anti-AI has practically become fashionable. Some AI critics have even built enormous audiences around the idea that the economics of the industry are unsustainable. Plenty of investors seem almost eager to watch the entire trade collapse. That isn't the sentiment or narrative around which tops are typically made. The Internet trade didn't end in the panic of 1998. It ended after the extraordinary acceleration of 1999 and early 2000 when being bearish was the market equivalent of wearing a dunce cap. History never repeats perfectly, and today's rate environment is very different. But I think the resemblance in investor psychology is striking. I’d be genuinely surprised if we don't have at least one more months-long rally into new highs during this cycle. Whether it begins into the midterms, after the elections, around Anthropic's anticipated listing, or following further earnings confirmation, I suspect this correction will eventually look more like an interruption in a generational bull market than the bursting of a "bubble." The $NDX took four months to bottom in 1998. With the exception of a handful of leaders, most stocks that are holding up have been basing out since the May-July period. We could certainly go lower, but most of the signs point to another new high before this cycle rolls over. However, I’d place the odds of any additional powerful rallies afterward as increasingly unlikely given the fact we are already about to enter the fifth year of this bull market. I'd be careful about buying the dips next year, at least with meaningful size.

99% of you simply aren’t cut out for this. You believe the bulls as stocks rise and the bears as they fall. Stock prices follow FCF/share. If you can’t handle the emotional bullshit in between, you’re cooked. Absolutely nothing has changed for $NBIS or $IREN in the past two weeks except sentiment. They are now EXTREMELY undervalued. While the market tries to sing you a song about financing problems, $NBIS just raised another $3.5B with $C. I’m struggling to understand how they can continue raising capital and building when allegedly it’s impossible? Those who can back up the truck when the market hops on the bear bandwagon will be rich as the years pass.

This explains Zcash, Pearl, etc.
Pearl is one of those things I'm probably just gonna fade because I'm fully allocated and cannot chase all the new kids on the block. However I think the interest in it proves a larger point: disaffection with bitcoin is the key driver this cycle. Basically the only things pumping are (1) onchain companies which have clear profits that justify buying them and (2) coins attempting to succeed where bitcoin has failed.

Bullish - higher for $PENGU
$PENGU is now available to buy, sell and hold on @SoFi, the first nationally chartered bank to offer crypto services to it’s members. With SoFi servicing over 15 million members, this marks another step toward bringing $PENGU to everyone, everywhere. Billions will Huddle.

Imagine you could buy 2025 $NBIS for $77 right now. Well you actually kind of can. Price anchoring is a major cognitive bias in growth investing. Investors fixate on historical nominal prices and ignore underlying fundamental growth. In December 2025 the stock traded around $77. Using very conservative estimates for the value of the non core business units the core business was valued at laughable 1 to 2x expected YE2026 ARR at the market cap of that time. Today the price is around $168. Because the revenue base and forecasts have expanded the core business is effectively trading at the exact same multiple of 1 to 2x YE2027 ARR at today's market cap. The stock is extremely cheap right now which is why I am buying the damn dip.
Almost a year later, we’re back at that point. Using a VERY conservative estimate for the value of the non-core business units, $NBIS' core business is effectively trading at ~1-2x YE2027 ARR at today’s market cap. It’s been a long time since the stock was this cheap.

Never saw you support Pudgy once. Abstract shuts down and suddenly you're the loudest Karen on the timeline. Silent while they were building. Loud the moment there's something to complain about. Sit down and read the details. In early 2022, @pudgypenguins was a dead project. The community had voted out the founders. The project wallet was empty. The floor was under 1 ETH. Luca Netz bought the entire thing for 750 ETH. Four years later: Walmart shelves, a NASCAR car, the Las Vegas Sphere and San Diego Comic-Con. People underrate how hard that is. Doge and Pepe were already famous memes before anyone gave them a ticker. Pudgy had nothing to borrow. No existing meme, no built-in audience, just a collection everyone had written off. Luca's team turned that into the most recognizable crypto-native character in the real world. The NFTs were just the beginning. Retail: - Pudgy Toys rolled out to 3,100 Walmarts, plus Target, Walgreens, Hot Topic, Five Below, Smyths in the UK and Amazon - 1M+ toys sold - VIBES, their trading card game, is in every Target in the US, with 15M cards in circulation Sports: - NASCAR partnership, with Pengu on Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s #47 Chevy at the Southern 500 - NHL Winter Classic - Manchester City Entertainment • Kung Fu Panda collab with DreamWorks • Lil Pudgys animated series with TheSoul Publishing, the studio behind 5-Minute Crafts • A children's book with Random House • Their own comic trilogy, launched at San Diego Comic-Con Brands and licensing • Schleich figurines • Visa, through the Pengu Card • LINE FRIENDS, PEZ, Scrub Daddy, Kung Fu Tea • Official trading cards with Kakawow • IRL events from NYC to Tokyo Then the Sphere. Dogwifhat holders tried to get their coin on it and couldn't. Pudgy got on for Christmas, as a toy brand. That's the whole point. The outside world doesn't see Pudgy as a coin. It sees a character. The numbers: - 100B+ views across social media - 50B+ views on GIPHY, at one point more than Disney - 2M+ followers on Instagram And NFT holders get 5% of net revenue when their penguin ends up on a product. That's real IP, not a roadmap. Yes, Abstract is shutting down. Yes, Pudgy Party got cut. They could have launched an Abstract token and dumped it on the community. Instead they ate tens of millions in losses, shut it down and put everything back into the brand that works. That's discipline, not failure. Last cycle's biggest NFT company spent the bear market selling off its IP. Pudgy spent it getting theirs into Walmart. What the fuck has any other NFT project accomplished at this scale? You can hate solana:2zMMhcVQEXDtdE6vsFS7S7D5oUodfJHE8vd1gnBouauv . You can short it. You can question the valuation. But pretending Pudgy Penguins haven't executed is pure cope. And yes, I used Claude to get all these partnership details right. The list is humongous. Nobody keeps all of that in their head. That alone should tell you something. No crypto project has done more to bring IRL people into our community.
Well, well, well. So, out of pure desperation @pudgypenguins team decided to order some paid promo from Adam? Personally, I believe every single word, because nobody from Pudgy would ever lie, especially the people close to @LucaNetz or Luca himself. Abstract community can confirm it. I wonder who the next whale from the shadows will be, the one who suddenly creates a fresh wallet and dumps another 1 million dollars into this dead scam project to buy it out. It's a waste, man.
