This is so well crafted that it’s as if we were a part of the community itself, talking to those who knew and loved him…it’s an astonishing piece of theatre.

It’s a brilliant production. Truly. Each and every actor gives their all and as the play unfolds the characters become more and more familiar, pulling us deeply into their lives as well as Matthew’s.

The Laramie Project was written in the wake of the murder of Matthew Shepard. The Techtonic Theatre Company interviewed many of the town folk, hoping a play could be created that honored Matthew and offered healing in some way. @thegrouprep

The Laramie Project. In 1998, Matthew Shephard was kidnapped, beaten, tied to a fence and left to die. His crime? Being gay.

The Group Rep presents a fundraiser staged reading with violin of Lionel Goldstein’s HALPERN & JOHNSON, a tale exploring the funny, rocky and unusual relationship of two very different gentlemen — one is Jewish, the other Gentile.

Love… or Best Offer
It’s a very sweet concept made all the sweeter by some very clever writing + some wonderful + endearing performances by the hilarious cast. Not quite a farce, but some really funny setups + quite brilliant one liners.

The lovelies at @thegrouprep have made a habit out of staging adaptations of iconic movies. A tricky thing to do well, but they seem to have perfected it and their Harold and Maude is yet another success ...

Artistic director Doug Haverty makes a triumphant return as Stan. His deadpan delivery was genius! But then everyone is fabulous + utterly perfect for their roles. What a fantastic surprise this quiet show is.
